I just don't like the idea some have that she would go full punk.At most she would experiment with dying her hair once and get a small tattoo with Chloe so they have something matching. As for hair, the pictures I've seen of her having it in a small ponytail looks great.
Chloe would probably stay the same for a very long time. The only change I could see her making would be to make some more outfits and maybe stop dying her hair or keep it to highlights since the blonde is too nice to hide.

I'd guess plenty. But there's a very different kind of fragility to either of them. With Chloe and Max we already went into what that pool scene means for either of them and in context. With Chloe and Rachel, I can't help but always see Rachel's easygoingness and naturalness in all things intimate and Chloe's silent longing for more significance in that intimacy - silent because she doesn't want to strain their friendship, or worse scare Rachel away, knowing deep down that she doesn't love her. Maybe even knowing that Rachel can't fix her, can't truly "save" her. That even her love won't make the pain go away. Joyce and Chloe say it themselves: Chloe has never laughed like she did with Max, again. Until she returned.

It's obvious that Chloe has feelings for Max and wanted them to become more than friends. I'm guessing that these feelings existed for years and Chloe didn't full realize them until Max was gone.
Max may have had similar feelings when she was younger, but she didn't recognize what they were until she was older and they were together again.
But even them being together wasn't enough to settle things because they both had self-doubts: Chloe not knowing how Max felt and still having feelings for Rachel (and maybe not wanting to bring Max down) and Max not thinking she was good enough for Chloe (Which we clearly see addressed)
By the end of the game we see that these fears have been laid to rest so it's very easy to conclude that the two of them move on in the future to be happy together.

Clearly the dream of running away and living a happy, carefree, successful life together. Rachel was a great friend to Chloe and did help her in a massive way. Chloe says Rachel "saved her life" and there's a few possibilities to what that means, but I don't want to think about them.
But as much Rachel helped Chloe by being there and being her friend, she also hurt Chloe by giving her false hope. It was obvious how Chloe felt about Rachel and what she wanted. But rather than Rachel being honest and telling Chloe she didn't want to be in a relationship with her (Or an exclusive one with anyone really) she lied to Chloe which left her kind of delusional and confused. Rachel's dream was to run away from Arcadia Bay and get to somewhere she could be famous and work as a model. Chloe's dream was just to be loved and be happy, it didn't matter if it was ina huge city or a small town.

But then the answer to that is "In My Mind"; Chloe realizing that she never actually wanted to just burn bridges and leave Arcadia and her past behind - that she actually loves the little trash town out in coastal nowhere, loves, obviously, her mother, between her father and Max the memory-ladenness of it all, the tired and weary atmosphere. Realizing and accepting, optimistically, that just running away and being some "just happy" person is simply not her.
I know people like to think she and Max drove off and made great lives for themselves and each other. But just a little, slightly trashy Arcadia life suits them. Never fully healed, certainly having their respective ghosts and furies and hurting still sometimes. But alive, together, making it. Belonging. And it's not like Arcadia isn't beautiful...

I agree. I don't think they would ever permanently leave Arcadia Bay. That is their home and where they belong. Like you said, running away was Rachel's dream and Chloe told herself she wanted it to, but realized over time that she didn't.
I think in the end they drove off the Max's parents house in Seattle and will stay there for a few weeks or months to allow themselves to relax, think, and build their relationship. They certainly earned it and need it. But they will return to the Bay. Even if Max and Chloe travel for fun or work, they will always come back to their home.
Perhaps in the future Ryan and Vanessa will move back as well, and if not it's only a few hours away to visit.

Yeah, leaving Arcadia fits in more with Chloe's dream of running away from her demons, thinking she can escape them that way. When really she has to confront them, as she does with Max, grow to accept and embrace and overcome them that way. There'll still be sadness, but with Arcadia being such a fundamental place for her (childhood spent with William and Max, time spent with Rachel and later Max again, her mother, William's and Rachel's graves, the people that knew them, all that), and with Max, I can see her manage and lead a fulfilling life, find happiness in her surroundings, relationships and herself again. ...And they can also still travel sometimes like they'd wanted to.

Depending on the level you are able and/or willing to connect with it: ride of your life or "tumblr: the game". Half-joking aside, even in not connecting or relating too deeply you'll find something redeemable. It's aesthetically and atmospherically pleasing. You'll like the one or other character in one way or another. There's a fair share of narrative uniqueness, starting with Max as a MC.
Cute grill, comfy environments, quirky adventures, quiet romance, somewhat engaging gameplay, a teasing bit of sci-fi and mystery and one of the biggest upsets of a final act await you.

They may even return to Arcadia Bay in as little as a few days or a week if Chloe wants to see Rachel laid to rest. Even though the town would certainly still be a state of disrepair at that point it still gives Chloe time to see Joyce and start to make things better with David. Which Max would be there for her since it would probably be difficult. It also gives Max time to see her friends and find out all of what happened, and Chloe would be there for her if she heard bad news and thought it was her fault.
Then they can return to Seattle for a bit or even decide to stay in Arcadia as long as Chloe's house or the Blackwell Dorms are livable.

The bullshit tornado aside (which I just tend to ignore at this point) this is the kind of ending I wanted for them. Growing up is learning to find happiness in what you have, in the patched-together existence you can carve out for yourself.
Happy endings aren't all sparkly dreams-come-true. They're a warm hand wiping away your tears after bad news, a joke that makes you laugh so hard you spill your drink, watching a particularly beautiful sunset from a place you call home, a photo album full of memories.
A happy ending is just a story that hasn't ended yet.

Anyone who things the events after the game would be entirely happy, or entirely sad, failed to understand the game. It's going to be a mix for them. Immediately after the storm they are both going to be wrecks.
Max is thinking she killed tons of people, she doesn't know if that's the end of everything, and she is probably still going to have nightmares about that week. Chloe thinks her family is dead, still has to deal with unanswered questions about Rachel and the fact that she is gone, as well as that she is alive and now has to figure out what to do. They're both going to be nervous/ scared of the future but will work through it together. And I'm sure that they will have their arguments. It's not going to just be sunshine and rainbows, unfortunately.
But their love and support for each other will always win out in the end and they will learn to move on, accept what happened, and be better because of it.

They haven't seen each other in a week because Chloe had to get some stuff from back home before joining Max for vacation with her and her parents. Chloe made a silly pun about "Wallfield" and they laughed, but Chloe proceeded to get all up in Max's space, whispering that she really fucking missed her and the pre-kiss tension is tangible. (Or, you know, pre-"make-out session, lifting Max up against the wall" tension.)

Immediately after finishing playing it I felt sick for a few days and just got depressed thinking about the game. Then I got angry. Now the anger's gone and I've just been disappointed but found whatever peace I can.
