I just finished playing this but anons, Max was straight in my playthrough, hooked up with Warren and sacrificed Chloe for the bay. Chloe was abused, by David who did nothing wrong, and abused Max resulting in the sacrifice. Max going with Warren also resulted in Kate being a slut and Max isn't lesbian, she is bisexual and was just experimenting with Chloe. All this proves that Mari was right and thus why is this general still alive?
Also, Bay is obviously the better ending since everyone died if you can't tell from the events I mentioned. Tom Gould's comic's, all wounds and LiS SFM porn are the canon continuations of the game.
