It's actually a pretty nice set, with a lot of good support. The problem is, it's a set with 1-2 support cards each for a lot of completely different shit, so unless you play several different archetypes that got support in INOV, or you are a seller, is won't be worth it to buy packs or boxes for you.

I think that the YZ variant has gotten a LOT better with Branches and Donglong.
Denglong allows you to have a defensive play if you open too many Metalfoes since it can be made with a tuner + a low level Metalfoes. Like I said earlier, Denglong floating into Denglong is a pretty decent defensive play that gains you a lot of advantage. Also, if you can build a scale, you have a decent shot of surviving if you go second, which is what the deck needed.
Branches also has the added bonus of being more Jiaotu bait.
However, the deck dies a lot harder to Veiler than the Ultimaya variant. It's more risky to play, but while a big Ultimaya Metalfoes board can be played around, like, 99% of the time you just have to scoop if the YZ Metalfoes goes off.

Which honestly I think is one of the reasons they dominated, being able to spam such a (for the time) hard to remove monster so consistently without losing advantage. What exactly makes Super Poly broken? Is it immunity to response, is it using either player's monsters or is it the combination of both?

It's mainly a level thing. The simplest way to make it would be by mixing 2 lights or 2 darks, and you can't just shove the lights and the darks together (Jiao + Baxia is 10, Chiwen + Yazi is 8). So you've gotta have Denglong pull double duty. Thankfully Denglong puts out work, so we can end T1 with a Light/Dark/Wind Chaofeng (That's immune to spell effects), a Hope Harbinger Dragon, a Zefraniu, a Zefra Divine Strike and a Nine branches of the Yang Zing, starting next turn with a Path of the Yang Zing in hand and all sorts of magic that could happen from then on.
I'm fairly certain there's no real combo of cards that BA or Kozmo can get out in order to out that field, and even Monarchs have some trouble getting over it (Then surviving the next turn if they manage to summon anything).
Since the restrictions are a little specific in regards to Chiwen and whatnot, it's not going to happen every game. Just like, half of the games you go off.

The "no response" part is what everyone complains about, but obviously slapping that clause on a normal Poly wouldn't do very much; it's how it works in tandem with the card's other attributes. A Super Poly that was still quickplay and still could use monsters from either side would surely still be useful, but it would leave plenty of room for your opponent to wiggle out of it.

Card is cancerous because it uses materials from both players, and that's the biggest reason.
The fact that it's quickplay makes it a lot more otk bait and disruptive, and the immunity to response only mattered against Naturia Beast or Warning
There was a point where Shaddoll decks used it AT FUCKING THREE
Basically it made the mirror a "draw Super Poly or lose" match, where the first one that fused was the most fucked, not different from people leaving an empty field against Nekroz of Trishula.
Super Polymerization was fine when fusions had restrictive materials. Once they started to release the omni-heroes, a lot of people realized that it was only a matter of time until Konami tried to break Fusions and make them generic
We got to that point with Shaddolls, where putting a dark or light monster on field was actually giving advantage to them.
And as long as they keep releasing shit like Starve Venom Dragon, Super Polymerization will have a well cemented place in the banlist.
In fact, I think that Starve Venom will be the one that makes KoJ realize that Super Poly is busted. You basically win the Burning Abyss match-up by drawing it.

Honestly in my opinion the only problem Fluffals have is that they have no consistent, non-destructive out to cards. Sheep and Tiger only go so far, and sometimes I just get caught dead if my opponent whips out a Beelze and I have to stall until I can summon a Castel. I just wish they made a Frightfur that said

Yeah that's what I was saying for the Kozmos least besides the gold rare cards (which I personally think are better than more rare cards, love the gold boarder and foil effect and makes me feel I rared out my deck a lot more for less) things like Dark Lady cost me 15$ a piece, then got pissed at myself for pulling one the next day after when I just bought some.
Then for 3 tincans it cost me 7-8$ a piece just for searchers.
Besides from that I'm also planing on making Lunalights eventually but dunno when Crimson Fox or Perfume are coming out but I have most of the monster cards I need for it so far.
