I just figured out that you can continuously reroll using one facebook account. Have your facebook linked to an account, log out and start a second file that's not connected to facebook. If you don't like it, log back into to facebook to wipe the second account. Then log out and try again. Once you have a set up you like, just don't log into facebook again.

I don't have any numbers to back it up, but I feel like the way it works is that first it rolls rarity and then it rolls on that rarity's list.
3* is more common than 4* is more common than 5*.
You see more Kefkas and Golbezes because you roll a 3* and their drop rate is boosted, but Chizuru is only in the 4*-5* pools so if you aren't rolling a 4* or 5* you don't even have a chance to see her - but if you do, there are better odds of getting a Chizuru (or Kefka or Golbez) then other characters.

You can get generic merging units to aid trust and you can grind the first map for trust, though it takes a while.
Merging to increase trust is okay but if you want to play the long game you can increase your rewards by a lot. An average of 20 energy is required to increase trust by 1 if you do the best place, so it'll take a while. Though you can farm trust on 5 units at the same time.

Yeah. Dont have any Red/Cait Relics which would have made the fight much easier and Vincent had Memento Mori/Ruinga. That with Whirl Slash and Grenade Bomb helped even if Vincent died to a Grand Spark early on which oddly enough made Aerith's healing duties easier.
Had to have Aerith with good starting bar for her protectga or its an instant S/L which was shitty.

Not him, but my current problem with the game is that if you don't get 2 or 3 good rolls off the 10 they give you, you're pretty much screwed until you save up 10/11 tickets for the next event, which past the first 15 ranks is a total bitch.
Otherwise, you have to drop a good amount of dough just to have a chance at a good character. 10 bucks per 3 rolls? That's pretty shit.

Kefka is a good mage but Exdeath is a great mage. In the Japanese version he's still one of the best characters in the entire game. They're not really that comparable.
For 13 draws I wouldn't call that a great result. Don't feel pressured to reroll until you get a bunch of great guys though, they'll only start mattering months from now when harder content starts.

Game feels really meh to me. Maybe I'll restart and hold the stuff it gives until more characters get added, but nothing has really pulled my interest in this. Even then, too lazy to make a facebook to do the resetting thing, if I haven't already fucked it up somehow.

The trust system in BE means that every unit has a pretty cool piece of equipment/ability that they give when you use them enough. Even the low rank shitters can be good for something.
And when you do Lapis pulls, every unit is a guaranteed 3* or better, and 3* units can become 4* units. Some can go from 3* to 5*. Most of the units you get from rare pulls are acceptable. People are just choosy about their initial pull right now since it's rerolling season.

Absolutely. For example, Exdeath is one of the best units to get right now, and he can come as a 3*, a 4* or a 5*. You can upgrade the rarity later, so a 3* Exdeath will eventually become a 5* Exdeath. Most of the top tier characters now can come as a 3-5*.

No. I need the damage since my only decent SB for VII is Planet Protector. Two Drain Strikes, Thief's Revenge and two aoe cures are plenty of healing as long as the game doesn't feel like fucking me over. My biggest problem is not being able to burn him down fast enough in the last phase (where even two healers can't keep up with the damage) so it would be counter productive.

The units ahead of her are (in order) Lightning, Luneth, Gilgamesh, Orlandu, Cecil, Exdeath, an OC, Refia, Cloud of Darkness, Emperor and Dragonlord. There are quite a few better physical attackers than her in JP.

It doesn't matter how many healers you have: if he drops 4 consecutive Ultimate Meteors and/or Ultimate Flashing Blades on you you're fucking dead unless you've got magic blink or a Cura/Curaga level aoe heal. I've survived plenty of turns with just two characters against him but the problem is that the rest of my party was dead because I didn't realize I had a shared Shellga. You'd have to be literally braindead to think there aren't scenarios in RK where you simply can't win if the game decides to fuck you over - especially when you're working under fairly strict limitations.

Fuck this faggot and his Ultimate Meteor. Was finally able to get a run going late with a Shellga fit on the team.
Best I could do on Cid Mission was 10% with Sync as RW thanks to Meteor as I had no chance of fitting shelga on my FF7 team. That counter/haste is fucking dumb if he procs it phase 1 as thats the phase that benefits the most from it.

You should give Memu a try. I switched to it after I'd had enough of Nox's audio crackling (which is still a problem on Memu for me, but not as bad) and it seems to have all the same features while running a lot smoother. Some of the areas that lagged like a motherfucker on Nox run perfectly on Memu.

It's not easy to upgrade. It takes some farming and leveling first. Still, you could probably turn your 3* into a 5* over the course of a week or so if you put your mind to it.
