Also the sealing of 2 through 7 tails is a blank period in Akatsuki history so you might get more value out of that. Really 8 hours is a big commitment so do whatever you want. Rewritten the Water Shield Jutsu to hopefully make it more viable for the players. It now blocks a flat 2 damage from all attacks, lasts three turns rather than one, and basic ranged attacks have a 50% chance of completely being stopped by the shield.

This will come across as arrogant but I don't care, people are wondering why we're so slow today and I'll answer them. First a few things.
There are only two things this general needs to worry about - losing people we already got and (much less importantly) attracting newcomers.

The only thing that could possibly contribute to our decline is the non Naruto related discussion that's been going on. Pic related isn't the only example but it's one of them. Not trying to start an argument but our ONLY appeal is that this is the best place to talk about Naruto, and the only reason people would choose not to stay is not because we get into Naruto arguments, it would be because this is starting to look like a drama hub. Arguing about Lee is pretty trivial and no one cares if it takes up a quarter of the thread, but this non-Naruto stuff is pure drama, both sides. And what's more important than how this impacts our image is how it might drive off long-time posters. Again nobody's gonna get too pissed off when discussing Lee but drama might.

This post isn't to toot my own horn, I'm not going to give away who exactly I am (though I've never been a namefag), but ever since Monday last week I've probably been the chief reason the general has started to get a lot healthier since we got archived Monday before last. Not from my own number of posts but from being by far the most successful conversation starter. And what's great is it wasn't me bumping or only posting because we reached page 9, it's because I wanted to and was having fun with talking bout the series.

then you're not being creative enough. Also a new Boruto chapter just came out and we're waiting for Boruto movie translation, this should be the peak of activity.
Anyway I don't want to say exactly why I'm not going to be posting for the next 4 days but some of you will figure it out.

Just to clarify. I'm not saying we shouldn't talk about R20's game, that's great. Also this has nothing to do with our namefags, I think all three are great. I also think the best part about these threads is that people post their fanfiction. But not posting puts me in the best position to just the quality of this thread and it's absolutely dire.
So hold out for the next 4 days and most importantly have fun! There's plenty to discuss if you can get enthusiastic enough to take some initiative, and I'm mainly talking about our anons here - R20 contributes enough as it is.
Side note* I'm that guy who three weeks ago said he would be quitting his job the next week. It coincided perfectly with our darkest hour with that "final thread" and it's been fun as Hell posting here.

I can post examples but I really don't need to. Just from the previous thread (haven't posted since then) I guess I was the one to bring up Metal Lee and why I'm hopeful they'll redeem themselves for what they did to Rock Lee's character by having Rock Lee's dream live on in the new Lee, which spawned that shitstorm afterwards. The discussion that spawned from it was disproportionate, we can all agree on that, to how interesting the topic is, and it's not exactly fresh content, but little things like that can explode in the span of 3 hours.
By the way I didn't take part in any of the shitflinging afterwards if anyone's gonna complain about it, just made about 3 posts early on.
