Depends on the game, in both sides. CSGO isn't anywhere near as difficult as a 1:40 in SM64 120 star, ever. The sheer dedication and lack of ability to fall back and rely on teammates in a longer speedrun is just brutal. There is literally 0 break in a proper mario speedrun, maybe handwiping seconds during portal exits.
But if you mean like streemerz versus starcraft or something, then yeah esports is gonna be more skillful. streemerz is a, despite being fun game, VERY simple, especially as a speedgame.

Yeah I would, but for some reason CRTs are basically non-existant in my country nowadays, I've been on the hunt but I can never find a good one (I'm a yuropoor so most of our CRTs can't even play 60hz games, or they can but it's black and white.
