I'll look at it today. My little brother is collapsed in the hospital but I don't have the ability to see him. He can't afford medical insurance so might lose his house; my older sister is vanished and possibly suicide, possibly simply ran off to Mexico. These things are normal in my life, adding to the "you're living in a soap opera, but its not quite real, nothing is" sense of frustration. I feel like my purpose is to finish this that I started 35 years ago, so I can die, after which I'll be sent to hell, probably to wake up inside someone else's scripted world, much like you're stuck in mine. I'm relatively young, at age 55, but with no prospects for work and no real future. I can't believe in God as the old testament has him, as the paradigm of solving society's problems by Hitler's ovens seems the antithesis of all God actually stands for. Thus my personal blend of religion severs Christ from the old testament, in that hell is something imposed on political prisoners and prisoners of conscience, or otherwise the Quislings that would pitch their neighbors to be burnt, like sonderkommando (imprisoned Jews in the deathcamps) operate the gas chambers and ovens. This to me is the church where each person hears how the sinners should be burnt -- and of course they too are sinners. So to me, the true church is one that seeks God unchained from such paradigms - it is this clinging to the past that seperates us from God. I think of things like this each night and wake up further from happiness; such a dark outlook I have. I have no hope. I expect the worst from people. I wonder if when we eat meat these are people recast into a form as punishment, since even God is ashamed of hurting people, but does as he is commanded by his clients, the good computer he is. Anyway, how is your day?
EDIT: and my younger brother recovered and was released after 5 days. My OLDER brother has a birthday, but he's homeless so I'll not get to write or talk to him.

What mods do I use, and what do I consider traditional? Do matchlock samurai and ashigaru count? Matchlock samurai would imo count but they're absolute trash so I'm not really sure why you'd bother. When you say 'matchlock ashigaru' do you mean levy infantry? If so, then I would say that they don't really count, no. They seem too 'industrial' a unit to really be traditional. Sabre cavalry is not traditional as they use sabres rather than the glorious katana.
I'm not really sure you CAN have a navy. It depends on how puritanical you are being about the whole 'traditional' thing, but FOTS navies are universally pretty modern. Foreign Affairs is a tier 2 tech, right? If so, I would consider allowing yourself a very limited supply of modern soldiers and ships to represent the frogs lending you military assistance. But that might be too shamful for you, I suppose.

You can have a really good first ten turns and become the pillar of the world, or take some big losses to barbarians, sassanids and huns early and end up with a very interesting campaign. Not really. They're quite fragile.
Honestly, zombie spam is the most effective way to campaign with Vampire counts.
You don't need strategy when you outnumber your opponents three times over with unkillable meatshields.
Just grab two to three units of heavy cav, some bats and go to town with zombies.
You'll win almost every fight by raw attrition.
Should I spam Reiksguard or demigryphs in campaign?
With the numerous upkeep buffs for Reiksguard, I kinda feel I should use them. I can have nearly twice as many.

The best thing is, they fire while moving, and can still break thin line of riflemen just using their charge. I still remember how I can break the lines 450 line inf with 240 rev cav repeatedly, giving no chance for them to reform their firing line

Radious mod is not a mod to be taken literally. It is saturated with an abundance of metaphors and symbolism; some painfully and intentionally obvious whiles others painfully subtle. It is not particularly intelligent and never makes any attempts at being profound. Although occasionally nonsensical and gratuitously pornographic, it would be wrong to judge Radious mod on its face value alone.
Radious mod is the ugly duckling: scorned for unsightliness, but an ethereal swan from the start. It is a fairytale of vibrant colours and simple joys. It truly is that brilliant painting of which a fleeting glimpse you catch, but an enduring impression you get.
In conclusion, I do not think Radious mod deserves all the ridicule and hatred that is being dished out. The stringency and inadaptability of the traditional historical and lore friendly approach practiced by so called "understanders of strategy" is to blame for this. Hoc salsum esse putas? fugit te, inepte: quamuis sordida res et inuenusta est. Radious mod is unshackled from such rigidities and doing so through homosexuality rather than the vapid norm, it sheds light on the enigma which has eluded psychologists for centuries.

I think the economic/grand strategy side of the game takes skill and forces you to make choices between what you want to do, same with the number of skillpoints you get for a character. Radious throws that balance out the window in favor of essentially giving you infinite money.

On the surface Radious mod seems like your ordinary mod which is seemingly unremarkable but whose charm is so irresistible yet so subtle, that the people who've played it cannot but fall for it, much to the frustration of some self proclaimed "understanders of strategy" who cannot see any logic to these affections. Unlike our hack-ridden mod industry, Radious Mod uses metaphors in an excruciatingly subtle way. Sharp-eyed spectators should be able to spot the humanistic properties Radious mod displays.
Radious mod is a self-aware and self-referencing work. It points out the flaws and implausibilities which often plague its genre, yet offers no alternative. Though criticized for conforming to its genre without innovation, composing the rest of the mod with uninspiring features essential in achieving what Radious mod wishes to do. While it does highlight the unrealism which plagues the modding community, it also serves to illustrate the irrationality of passion and infatuation, which which is shown by the hatred often spewed at this masterpiece. Poor Radious is left with naught, but to hunger evermore.
The team is aware of the flaws and tropes in their work, but artistic integrity has to be weighed against the harsh market. Even so, no artist wishes to make hollow trash as much as “understanders of strategy” so often may think. Behind these stories are genuine emotions, far more so than half-assed criticisms by blind followers of objectivism.
I don’t think this mod justifies an arbitrary rating of stars; it’s much better than that. It deserves a place among the highest modern philosophical works of our world. "Nietzsche, thy name is Radious."

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what's a good program to view FPS? I usually use fraps or the Steam overlay for games, but I can't get fraps to work (it shows the overlay in the launcher, but doesn't appear in the game itself) and the Steam overlay is lying to me for some reason (telling me I'm at 200+ FPS even though I'm easily <30 on ultra).
