I tried leveling other classes and just found Paladin to be the easiest, really all there is to it for me. I like the simplicity and having a few "oh shit" buttons. Compared to my Warrior where if I pull an extra mob I need to run away or be killed. At 60 though yeah shits pretty stale and I feel like a goof running around in cloth gear when I can use plate.

what kind of pvp are we talking about? for duels, hardest class is almost certainly rogue (once you start playing people who know what they're doing, and who knows if that will happen here). For small group v group (which almost certainly will never happen), its mage. For wsg its druid, rogue, or mage, for AV the idea of skill mattering is laughable (but its rogue, mage, or druid). For AB, its whoever gets stuck defending farm or stables solo (in theory, that should be a rogue or a warlock).
Go rogue, mage, or druid, but only go druid if you're going to play a fuckton of WSG.

Good at what? At being a minor nuisance? I mean their potential damage is so low that you can pretty much ignore them. Only kind of melee oriented Paladin that's the slightest threat is the gimmicky reck/ret, and that's if you have some reck charges.
Holy on the other hand is amazing. You're honestly gimping yourself and your entire team if you don't play one of if not the strongest healing spec in the game. But we're talking pvp here so unless it's some kind of premade and you actually want to win you can do whatever you want.
Just remember that healers win games and the moment your teammates notice you are Ret and aren't going to be healbotting their warriors, they all groan on the inside.

You should have done at least a little research before playing. But yeah if a class has a heal then it's going to be a healer in PvE 100%, but PvP it really depends. Shadow Priests for example are actually quite scary in the right hands and Elemental Shamans can be a little bursty, but they can't hold a candle to the pure classes. Ret Paladins are just awful and really are the bottom (someone has to be), and they didn't start getting gud till late TBC/early WotLK.

I know a little about WoW but not it's vanilla state, that was my main problem. Didn't realise how bad retri paladins really are. My DPS is so low it takes me like 40 seconds to kill a mob, but at least I don't have to keep eating and drinking after every fight. I have like 30 lifetime PVP kills because every fight I get in, it's either bubble and heal while they just do the same with bandages or they set up to destroy me after, run away or get murdered by any ranged character because I can't reach them. How does a feral druid do? I was thinking about that for my next character. I don't really want to play a caster, I played a hunter in retail and I remember they being annoying with ammo and food so I don't want to do that and rogues, it just seems like there's too many.
