Actually, if the opponent has their back to the corner, and has some space behind them, you can cancel the back throw's first hit into a delayed Jyagaku. This will put you behind them. Then you instantly 66 2A and you will be in front of them again, so a double crossup. You can also do a late 662A so you're just behind them and it'll be hard to tell the difference in netplay.
It's like the messenga ender crossup I stole from J Anson, but unlike that one, you can catch non techs with 2B into a full combo (2B is a terrible starter but given you don't burn meter to do it it's servicable).
Usually with this crossup you'd 5B into fucktons of damage, so it's something you save for an OD combo with meter.

I agree that the the game section did a good job of highlighting Mai's insecurities, but these were also shown in the manga. And in that we see Mai resolve them, which completes her character arc. Yes, the manga does have fanservice, but it doesn't contain just that. And it does have a pretty serious story arc in its second half.
Besides, the manga is only 4 volumes so it doesn't take long to finish it and it's the only side-material other than Xblaze that has been fully translated.

Kakas are even lower ranked than most beastkin, and they're supporters of IKARUGA. They didn't support the Library, and this is even more important when the Ikaruga War is going on. There shouldn't be one anywhere near the Academy unless they are just that amazing and have defected from the rest of the clan. Chachakaka should not be there.
The "serious" story arc is completely at odds with the rest of the story, and serious moments prior to that were out of place, like Jin's freakout. Also it's an academy with thousands of students and a giant glacier is hanging out outside. It'd be one thing to excuse it as something else, but no one gives a fuck about it after that aside from a single mention in the CP sidestories.

Do you have a source on your claim that all the Kaka clan was in rebellion against the NOL during the Second War of Ars Magus? You are in effect saying that you know more about BB than Mori since he had no problems with introducing a kaka as a student in the academy. Don't forget that members of the Kisaragi family sent her there to kill Jin, so they would have put pressure on the academy to accept her. And Chachakaka is pretty smart so she'd have had no problem qualifying for the academy.
The games also have serious moments interspersed with more light-hearted material. And Mai's problem is shown from the beginning as something serious and the girls are put in some dangerous situations from early on, so it's not as if the manga is all fun and games with the second half becoming serious out of nowhere.
Also, the NOL is a totalitarian regime which doesn't really care about human life. Its aristocrats keep plotting to murder each other after all, so if an order came to ignore the giant glacier from the top, then the peons would obey it without asking questions.

Torakaka directly says to Jubei that they're sending more warriors to Ikaruga, and they have close ties to Jubei, who is one of the Six Heroes but has actually been persecuted by the NOL. They are few enough, strong enough, and distinctive enough that seeing them outside of their home should raise an eyebrow even if it's just one on their pilgrimage like Tora. This goes double in a school setting. Instead it just makes the Academy look like they don't give a fuck. And this is all before getting into Shiori.
The girls SHOULDN'T be put into so many dangerous situations, it makes Noel's nostalgia for those happy, safe days look odd. It should've stuck as a gag manga all the way through or toned down the comedy and fanservice, but instead it tries to do both. BB's gag reels work because they're divorced from the main game and only pop up as very, very brief jokes, like Noel's comment in Remix Heart Gaiden about remembering Carl's CS gag reel.
What I'm referring to with the glacier thing is none of the other characters visibly cared about it, or show more wariness about Jin after him going berserk. There are good moments in Remix Heart, but I think the overall manga is pretty piss-poor and those good moments are all the more jarring with the terrible ones.

She had to leave all her friends behind and she was made secretary of Jin, who constantly abused her and seemed close to killing her a lot of the time. And after Calamity Trigger things actually got even worse for her. Sure Noel's life was in danger at times, but that's not unique to Remix Heart. In Heart to Heart she almost died too. And don't forget that Remix Heart takes place over a period of many months. Noel spent most of that time being happy together with her friends. Compared to what her life was like after graduating, things were vastly better for her at the academy.
