Depends on luck. You can do everything besides ultimates without paying money or having good SBs, but for ultimates you will need at least two of a wall, a medica or shout/equivalent buff and hastega on at least one of those things. If you get lucky and pull those without dropping cash then you're good. You can also never get those after dropping thousands because gacha.

Since I started playing there's been at least 1 mythril a day from login from how it feels, and the weekly events give like 5-10 depending on how many stages you can clear. A single draw takes 5 and doing anything like refilling stamina or expanding slots, or reviving takes 1 so it's pretty generous now. I heard they were more jew at the start.
You also start with 500 gems which is the premium currency, and each new draw banner has a 1 time 100 gem draw so you get 5 draws from that if you stagger it and draw on good banners. Otherwise a draw costs 300 gems, and its 100 gems to do anything 1 myth gets you.

5 for single (Every event banner offers a one time 100 gems pull too, if you're into that. 100 gems = 1 buck).

50 for an 11x (Special monthly banner allows for only one pull on it and is 25 for an 11x)
Abilities are made via materia shit, which is gotten through dungeons, events, etc.
There's also log in bonuses, one being mythril, another being a mix of stuff (upgrade materials, mythril, etc) and it isn't a "need to play every day" kind either.

The story goes down the shitter when they forget everything and everyone else and only focus on the shitty teen romance.
Unskippable cutscenes combined with the needlessly long intro makes replaying it a pain in the ass.
The middle part is great overall and the gameplay is consistently good if you only do the story stuff. Unfortunately, if you delve any deeper into it, the gameplay just gets worse in the endgame and the side content is all terrible minigames and bosses that are just punching bags for you to use Quick Hit on.
Basically it starts off shit, peaks halfway through and then it's just downhill from there in every way. It's just not worth it to sit through the rest of that shit just for the one part that doesn't suck.

- very little exploration, most of it tied to shitty post-game content that has no story or world building value whatsoever
- slow as fuck battle system with a trivial but obnoxious rock-paper-scissors mechanic; showing in endless recolors of the same flan is a terribly lazy way how to make Lulu "useful" for example
- speaking of which, lazy recolors everywhere; lacking monster variety
- shitty minigames for everything, completely unrelated to the story or characters after the first blitzball tournament
- tiny "towns" except for Luca
- NPCs barely say anything
- awful sidequests that introduce nothing except for grinding
In short, it was the XIII of its time, except I actually find XIII fun to play.

It was fine yesterday but now it is stuck in a download screen after the main screen, it reaches half of the download and then the bar empties and fails the download, I already tried deleting the game but I got the same result, tried erasing the game cache and cleaning junk files from my phone to no avail.

Her having access to guns at all is still 100% bullshit in comparison to Squall, who is also a Gunblade user (and a more iconic one at that) and he doesn't have gun access, and Cloud, who was a gun-wielding Shinra guard, and doesn't have gun access either.

Mist Overload is melee. Fang gets a ranged physical SB off the spear on this banner but it's not a jump, etc.
