It seems like Xyz is just more reliable than Synchro, as much as I prefer Synchro. Honestly if I could afford it, with ED space, I'd fit in a Formula Synchron for GUB and another level 1 plus Hermitree for Leo, but it's just too tight and Princessprite is a way better deal than Formula, because it can also lead to additional R7/R8s. It really is the backbone of the deck.

The deck is quite heavily limited by it's extradeck space.
