Ask them to buy a cheap deck so you can duel them. Deskbots can be built for less than 20 bucks (or about 10-15 yurobucks). Or buying 3 of a decent Structure deck, like the Cyber Dragon one, the Lightsworn one, or even Master of Pendulum/Monarch if they're prepared for more "meta" play. Saga is actually pretty decent and fine for casual play, but nowhere near MoP's power level to be honest. It's closer to the Cyber Dragon structure in power level. You could try to convince him to buy something like Dinomists, which'd only cost about 10-15 bucks bar an extra deck (which you don't need) and some random cards like MST which you probably have a thousand copies lying around. I mean if he's stubborn on only playing "original cards", you could bite the bullet yourself and buy a deck that's close to Saga's power level so you can have some decent fun.

D/D/D is literally the most broken deck in the game, can anyone explain exactly how the fuck the OCG isn't experiencing a Tier 0 format because of the 90 percent first-turn Siegfried/Crystal-Wings, and turn 2/3 >lol I'll just summon 4 2800 atk+ monsters for (literally) free
I've literally never come close to breaking that first turn board no matter what tier deck I'm using, the deck has no specific weakness (and no the contracts dealing damage isn't a weakness, they usually get D'arc out to gain from it, and if they start losing, they'll fucking otk before it becomes a problem, not to mention D'arc is an excuse of a fusion monster consisting of the most generic material of any fusion monster in the entire game)

I always liked how Cydras were the successors to Blue-eyes but Blue-eyes never matched them 1:1 when it came to fusions so it felt sort of weird.
Literally just summon Alternative, kill Siegfried or TG and do whatever with Crystal Wing on MP2.
They almost never pull off all 3 on board and have to settle with 2 of the 3 which is loads easier to break.
