You have to expect this when you run a casual guild. Players will join while they're learning and take it easy as they grow, but some players will outgrow that mindset and set they're eyes on higher goals.
It's the eternal plight of casual MMO guilds as well. Any casual guild is going to have to learn that players will come and go if you're relaxed. Some will have their fill of the game, some will join a Mythic progression guild, and there will be a small group of folks who stick around for years because they enjoy the company.
Maybe if people would understand this is normal, we'd see a lot less shitposting about guilds and poaching. The greatest strength casual guilds have is that their low bar of entry means that it's much easier for them to recruit new players to fill the spot left by people who left.
