Get maitreya or belleza or slink hourglass body (i recommend maitreya), one of the slink visage heads or the LOGO Alex head (I'd go with LOGO because of the expressions). All you need then is a nice skin, but the default brown tones on maitreya / LOGO might work. PUMENS has nice skins that come with appliers for mesh bodies and heads.
Hair I will leave up to you, Truth, Dura, Wasabi Pills, Magicka, Taketomi, Olive, Burley are some hair stores you can check out.
Horns are so numerous, pick any mesh horns you like, preferably materials enabled. Same goes for ears.

Maitreya is fitmesh so it will be affected by most sliders of your shape. It is not modify, but comes with an applier kit (same goes for the LOGO head) with which you can apply textures (diffuse, normal map and specular map) to it. With a fitmesh body you will be able to create a wide variety of shapes, from thin and lithe to chubby and voluptuous.
Avatar 2.0 is mod, so you can put your own scripts in it, however it is not fitmesh and you will always have the same overall shape (The only things it responds to in your shape are things like limb length). Avatar 2.0 is really only for specific, anime-esque characters that don't need much human anatomy.
