Second life is a game.. if you dont have a computer thats a potatoe.. Even if you have an older shitty comp or are far away from the servers you can still do things to make your SL look good and function with a high FPS. DONT use the SL viewer. Use Firestorm or Singularity or one of the others out there until you find one that you like set up wise and FPS. Firestorm you can set things so you will easily get a high FPS and rez fast. If you are into FPS shooters there are tons of those.
