Yes, botstance actually increases your physical damage by 131 at lvl 1+4 each level it seems. I guess this shit could work with every sapper skill not named conceal and claymore.
Broom is kinda obvious, but if you're trying to kill single targets, I guess you could use kneel's auto attack and lure the target to a shooter/stockades/punji/boss to its own trap with collar (or even kneel as the red orb is about to hit something). It's kinda risky because botstance is vulnerable as fuck, but may pay off for multi hit shit, try it out.

I like it a lot. The attributes for swell hand can more than double how much it gives, though each one takes 20+ minutes to learn.
Swell body unfortunately can't be used on bosses, and I don't think shrink can either. Swell body is great though, the bonus experience is pretty great and if an enemy would drop something, it instead drops two.
Can't say I've tried anything else, but I definitely don't regret it.

You can get to Rank 6 with retard builds, but it doesn't mean that Wizard is designed for that. Outside of like Linker and two others, most Wizard classes require 2/3 circles before they actually do their job properly.

Buffs are good (Didn't go Thauma 3 but swell brain sounds decent enough, plus you get more out of the other buffs and longer duration on right arm seems good).
Reversi is clearly mostly a pvp skill (but depending of the mob it can have some uses, the fire pillar in mage tower 5 for example).
Swell body is good for drop/money/exp. Drop are doubled so if the mob dropped some cute har or a good item you'll get two for the price of one. An attribute can add up decent damage reduction.
Shrink body can reduce damage up to 75% and add 140 damage if you have swell left arm active (i need to test this more actually, i think it's influenced by crits and those % attributes, also not sure if it adds damage to ticks like enchant fire or sacramento, another thing i need to test is if that damage is also added to allies but i kinda doubt it).
Really good class imo, and really good outfit.

taking your example:
cryo linker sustains himself pretty well (linker never falls off, ice pike multihits and freezes, also icewall is top 10 at scaling dmg) and also is a beast in partys, the +dmg u get from your skills is almost negligible later in comparison to what u get from int and memegear. what matters is the amount of mult hit magic shit u are dropping and, if u are a wiz, how many linked mobs are eating those AoEs 'weak' spells, plus sorcerer is so retarded thanks to temple shooter than one can simple link and shoot everything with that ugly bastard and do well from 127 to 200 with him alone
so you don't need to care about anything more and u can pick alchemist only to cook some meth and make money with overpriced awakened memegear
