Once you hit level 12 there are a lot of 300+CP Pokemon, and once you evolve them their level jumps even higher.
Tip: Catch a lot of Eevees and evolve only 250CP or higher, rest are candy fodder. You'll get at least a 500CP flareon, and I've usually gotten higher at 700CP. This is around level 10. Friend of mine is level 13, catching 350+CP Eevees and getting 900+CP evolves.

I think it's more interactive and thus you're more able to imagine that you're actually capturing pokemon like you used to want as a child. If they really wanted to rake in the dough they should copy the show and let everyone have dedicated pet pokemon like pikachu was in the tv show. Then they could customize them and buy them all sorts of stupid shit from the cash shop. All those neets would love the fact that they could imagine something else going on adventures with them while also not having to ask someone to go on a walk with them.

A game where you can explore real life and catch pokemon as if they were real? Using a device literally almost anyone below the age of 40 has? I think part of the reason for this is that the servers constantly shit themselves during the day, so the game is really only playable on offpeak hours usually late at night and early in the morning.
