You can still refund bundles, just test the games out before playing more than 2 hours.
And you can refund more than one thing from the same cart.
>>343329021
Careful with Arkham origins if you played Arkham City. The city in Origins is just a tiny portion of the city in City. Getting around is so fucking slow that the game has fast travel.

>You can receive a full refund for any bundle purchased on the Steam Store, so long as none of the items in the bundle have been transferred, and if the combined usage time for all items in the bundle is less than two hours. If a bundle includes an in-game item or DLC that is not refundable, Steam will tell you if the whole bundle is refundable during check-out.
There's nothing to figure out about this.
It sounds like you're just bootyblasted because Steam denied you a refund once or some shit.
>>343329841

>>343329670
Play asylum and city, they're the best fpr that price. Get city if you like "open world". AK is good too but its much more expensive
>>343329553
Danganronpa and its sequel are fantastic, especially if you liked Phoenix Wright type of games.
The first game has a pretty shitty first case, but it gets better from there. The second game is even better.

i dont know the multiplayer but god DAMN the game is good as fuck
also they adding local coop soon
Are there any party-based games similar to Dragon's Dogma where you run around with a group?
How is Tempest?
>>343330123
Massive Chalice is crap. It has a few unique ideas, but the core gameplay loop, the tactical combat, fucking sucks ass. No cover, no overwatch, no reaction abilities. You run your dudes towards the enemies, attack in turns, use a few abilities, and either win or lose.
I repeat, this is a turn-based combat game like XCOM without cover, without overwatch, without flanking.
SupCom you only really need Forged Alliance
Styx is neat
Momo 3 is fucking short but only 1 buck
Bit Blaster? No idea, it's 50 cents, who fucking cares.
>>343330036
Yes, but a bundle normally also gives a bigger discount, so why wouldn't you want to go for that? Aren't you waiting to buy during Steam sales, because you want to buy your games cheap?
If you're not a total retard and make an informed purchase by doing some research first, you wouldn't need to refund unless the games don't work.
If you bought games at the start of the sale (since prices remain the same the entire sale anyway), then even if you did need a refund on a bundle, you would have the money back in time to repurchase the individual games that you do want to keep from the bundle.
This guy is an idiot.

Wow, I knew MC had simplified gameplay but the lack of a cover system is a total dealbreaker for me. Can't believe not a single review mentioned that.

Any opinions on the Steam Controller? Is it worth it over a xbone one for the discounted price? Could also get it with Rocket League...

I just like the sound of a stealth game featuring very big levels and starring a non-human character, and the writing+VA work seems pretty damn good based off what I've seen.
I'll keep your advice in mind before zi decide whether or not to pull the trigger though, thanks!

I've seen some people claiming that Ikaruga is on sale, however, in my case, it appears with its normal price. What the fuck?
>>343330123
XCOM is good, though has some problems with difficulty dropping if you manage to survive the start game rape and upgrade your gear without important countries dropping out. Remember to play on Classic Ironman mode.
Styx has some problems with awfully shitty map screen with no proper directions (if you're the type to prefer no objective markers), but is a pretty good stealth game with lots of vertical platforming. Another problem is that despite being a thief game, you only get the extra EXP reward if you find ALL the collectibles in a map (instead of each collectible providing a small EXP increase) which feels pretty bullshit and not fun.
Crysis is pretty neat due to suit abilities and open maps, though as a shooter it's not that impressive. For that price a definite recommendation though.

>>343331063
RELEASE ORDER is best order.
1. Shadow of Chernobyl is the first game and has the best story.
2. Clear Sky is a shoddy prequel (second game in release order) with a boring and broken faction system, plus it spoils the first game. Few good new areas though.
3. Call of Pripyat is the last game both release and chronological wise. Best gameplay mechanics and side quests, though the story isn't that great, but provides some conclusions to the series as a whole.
I'd personally recommend playing Shadow of Chernobyl first, skipping Clear Sky and playing Call of Pripyat next.
Remember to play on MASTER (highest) difficulty as it decreases not only your, but also the enemies' bullet sponginess.

The writing's not great overall, but it's more that it's inconsistent than that it's all bad. To me the bigger issue was that the game is done in shorter scenarios with unique mechanics instead of a single long campaign, so you don't get that feeling of constant progression like in XCOM.

Blood Money has the best classic gameplay mechanics, open levels and works for a newcomer well. Only story relevant stuff is in the first game, Codename 47 (which is also quickly mentioned in BM) and it has quite frankly aged liked milk and is shit apart from one good level. You won't miss much by skipping it and diving straight into Blood Money.

>>343332506
I liked Hong Kong's hacking. At least its stealth hacking and the associated mini-games were different compared to Dragonfall hacking being basically just a watered down version of regular combat.
However for those wondering you should definitely buy both Dragonfall and Hong Kong, playing the former first.
>>343331594

S'alright. Its a decent arkham combat game. The nemesis system is novel but only really means something you ever lose a fight(you wont)

TEW is pretty great now that it's been patched to be a proper game instead of a "cinematic experience" you should probably get the DLC also.
The Long Dark is pretty light on content, it's not really a survival game, more of a walking sim than anything and the survival aspects aren't well balanced (hunting a deer gives you enough meat for 1 night, walking for 10 minutes leaves you starving to death, deadly tired and dying of thirst)

4 is better mechanically, 3 is a more "complete" game but most of your value comes from replaying it and doing the tower
>>343335420
It's even better and also the (obvious) main inspiration.
I know these two are very different, but which would be a better grab between Subnautica and Project Zomboid?

subnautica

You're fucking retarded.
You can refund multiple games bought at the same time AND bundles
stupid fuck, stop spreading your shitty misinformation.pussy ass bitch nigger
Should I get Age of Mythology? I loved it around release.
I've got $3.74 back from refunding Crypt of the Necrodancer, what else good at that price?

Unless purchased separately, a bundle is treated as the same game. Even if you put 30 minutes on 4 games from a bundle, it counts as 2 hours.

I bought Crysis and Insurgency at the same time. Didnt like Crysis but loved Insurgency. Went for a refund, and I had to get both games removed. Luckily I can just rebuy Insurgency, but if you want to avoid that, buy one at a time
>>343336492
Were you planning on completing the games before refunding them or some shit?
>>343336492
So what? You can still refund it.
>you can't refund bundles
>ok you can refund bundles but only if the total of all games is less than two hours
back tracking little pussy BITCH
>>343336576
That's not how it's supposed to work though, someone messed up on Valve's end.
>>343335923
Is it worth buying Disgaea PC
will the experience be any worse if I just emulate the PsP version?
>>343336661
Still better to just buy them separately and not have to worry about it.
>>343336562
>early access trailer
>>343336719
>buy them seperately
>pay more
>end up never refunding them
ok
>>343336693
You can only individually get refunded to your Steam wallet. If you want to refund to a card, you have to do everything that was purchased at one time. Also they are known to deny multiple refunds from the same cart.

Stardew Valley
or
Subnautica

Do you enjoy grinding more than some 30-something Guido club-going fuck who hasn't realized the best years of his life are already behind him?
Then yes.
>>343336693
Limitation of payment services - the only accept full refunds, and for example paypal doesn't care if that one payment bought one game or five. I think they allow you refunding single games if you decide to get Steam wallet credit instead of getting money back
