Low fps because it's on a shitty laptop.

Here's how they did it.

The truth is that Denuvo is fully cracked for that specific game (ROTTR), not emulated or worked around.

Denuvo uses a VM to translate x86-x64 instructions to a set of VM instructions (between 2-50 for a single instructions), which makes code unreadable (virtualization obfuscation).

At runtime, the VM instructions are decrypted by an interpreter, think of it as the specific processor needed to run the obfuscated bytecode.

So know that everyone knows the basic of virtualizer (summed up and simplified), here is reloaded's method. Exe sections that are encrypted by Denuvo are "destroyed", the original code is nowhere to be seen, preventing the reverser from modifying the code. Reloaded used tricks to get the interpreter to read the vm instructions for them, then dumped that decrypted code out of memory and replaced "destroyed" sections by the fresh x64 assembly code.
>>
>>343086252
So what if you cracked Denuvo? Piracy is LITERALLY dead. Not gaming piracy, but piracy in general. Nobody pirates in real life anymore except for like maybe 5 niggers off the African coast. TPB is dead. Kickass is dead. The only thing remaining are private trackers (which, in the case of gaming) largely have releases which can be found on public trackers

in theory piracy would hinder sales. i mean its potentially 1 less person who would buy it. and yet the people who pirate it probably dont have money to buy it anyways or aren't even willing to. it just makes the game run even fucking worse somehow and costs like what, a million dollaridoos to use? i hope it gets cracked so maybe they would just give up on antipiracy shit so i can expect games to run better on better hardware and not fucking worse

Probably not all that different, since removing denuvo altogether seems difficult. They'll probably find ways to inject the necessary VM instructions/object code to bypass denuvo.
But, completely removing denuvo should, in theory, increase performance and maybe help out with the memory leaks people talk about.

Sure, after someone decrypts the game archives and parts of source code, makes third party map editing tools/mod SDK and creates a separate mod injector. Denuvo only fucks with mods that try to inject themselves into .exe or need a separate .exe, it doesn't fuck with mods that change variables or use proprietary game archives or whatever, which is the majority of mods for games that support modding. Doom doesn't support modding, period. The only way to mod Doom for people is to create their own tools for modding, which is almost impossible, because less than a dozen of games ever had the privilege of having such dedicated communities

no way in hell. Only microsoft/first party tittles will be locked to Win10. Most devs aren't stupid enough to lock their games to one os, excepting if they go full jew and ms offers them a shitload of money, but even then it's still stupid

Yes it's worth it for the singleplayer campaign, probably my favorite game of the year so far. It's really reminiscent of Ouake and the original Doom. Movement and combat are really fast with you jumping all over the place dodging fireballs and missiles and blowing fucking demons up into gory messes. On higher difficulties getting hit just a few times can kill you though overall i'd say the game is still easier than Doom 1 and 2.

Also it's not scary at all. Unlike Doom 3 where the game had you crawling around in the dark like a scared pussy for half the game, you usually know when an enemy is near before you're actually in combat in the new Doom and you're running to go kill them. There are some darker segments though not as dark as Doom 3 was on average and there isn't a single scripted jumpscare in the game. There is a shitload of gore in the game though, like insane amounts of gore just all over the place.

Oh yeah and the soundtrack is pretty good too.
>>
>>343090431
Original Doom, not this Doom. Even Doom 3 supported modding to some extent, but people stopped caring about it long time ago. The best technical thing that came out of it was Doom 3 multiplayer mod years after the game has been out.

The thing about modding communities is they're incredibly autistic.

And the thing about autism is they're fucking livid over change.

If you go to doomworld, all you see is people circlejerking to comparison videos of the WR speedrun of DOOM to the Polygon review of DOOM 4. It's almost as funny as it is sad.

Never intended on spending 60 Usa grade beef patties on any denuvo game because most are single player and have campaigns that ammount to little over 20 hours if you're braindead slow and waste time looking for shit.

Now I have an outlet to get it for free instead of waiting for these games to be their rightful price: 10-20 bucks depending on how many hours I can get out of it.

I wish I could tell devs to follow the golden rule or they don't get my fucking money, but I'm 100% sure they wouldn't give a shit. I've been following this mantra since the SNES.

Maybe, but I'm not arguing that. I'm arguing that there are no games that sold well with denuvo. TW devs stated that their last game sold more, initially, that any other TW game. I don't care how setting, marketing, budget, whatever fits into this, I'm here just to prove his argument wrong.
