Translator from the uncensored patch here, it was not just that.
Basically everytime someone talked about gravure or Tsubasa's age they changed the line, and sometimes they changed whole conversations and eliminated player choices by locking the dialogue in a single path instead. I total there were 57 re-recorded lines, but a lot more lines have just been cut straight out.
For example Touma lusting over Maiko's magazine and him wanting to make Itsuki tag along to Tsubasa's shooting because he just wants to see girls in swimsuits. There's actually quite a lot of humor in those scenes that was lost.

There's a lot of bantz between Touma and Itsuki in that scene and Touma accusses him of feigning to be a gentleman by refusing to tag along. The player had two dialogue options there but both have been cut in the English version along with the entire conversation.
It's not even indecent at all, Touma just questions Itsuki's manhood and wants to see some boobs like everyone would.

The battle system is fast and fun, better than Persona for me. The game actually rewards you as you progress the story and battle with tons of unlockables including skills, weapons and passive skills that helps a lot.
