what does /v/ think about this? trying to keep it under 4. Also, I do apologize, i'm new to this board
>Also, I do apologize, i'm new to this board
On this site, we encourage a behavior called lurking, it means essentially read the board for a while before filling it up with your tripe. Get a feel for how the board responds to things.
For example had you lurked even a little you'd have seen this coming.
>>>/g/
or
>needing help with lego
or
>AMD
or any number of other things that will inevitably be posted in the thread.
>>340813325
You're new to the entire site.
This thread would fit better in /g/, but they'd also tell you not to ask here. Not really because it's against the rules, more because you're not likely to get a straight answer.
The ideal build for you depends entirely on what you intend to do (or play) on it, which you've foolishly failed to detail.
>>340813325
cpu got a cooler included, i dont like amd, if there is a cheaper weaker psu get that you dont need 500 watt for that setup you will be fine with 350 get a modular one if there is one, you dont need case fans but they are free so why not,
overall a good setup if you are on a tight budget
>>340813681
GTA5 and Fallout 4 on med/high
>>340814071
Did you check benchmarks for that GPU with those games?
>>340814319
Dude he posted a budget build on /v/ with no description of what he wanted and admitted to being new to the board.
He's so summerfag I got sunburned. Of course he didn't.
>>340814469
>he's so summerfag I got sunburned
>>340814469
>He's so summerfag I got sunburned.
Damn never heard that one before
>No LEDs
>No poptarts
>No copy of windows 10
The fuck are you doing man?
How are you getting 3 free fans?
A ps4 will outperform this
Are you trying to build a PC or a gaming PC?
Don't buy a CPU heat sink and fan if you're trying to save money. It should come with one.
>>340817063
>stock heat sink
Only if he wants his bedroom to sound like an Air Force hangar
>>340813325
Why settle for a shit card like that? Also you litteraly picked the worst time ever to build a PC. Just wait a few months.
>>340817258
maybe on full load, but it should be fine 99% of the time.
>>340817671
>FX-4300
>on stock
I've owned one; it'd shut down running borderlands 2 from overheating
>>340817063
>AMD stock heat sink

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT x1000
>wait for Pascal!
>wait for RX 480!
>wait for Kaby Lake!
>wait for Zen!
>wait for a 1060!
etc.
>>340818539
waiting for RX 480 is completely reasonable though; it's less than a month away
not waiting for an RX 480 when you're making a budget build at this time of year is madness
>>340813325
Upgrade that CPU to a pentium G3258 if you can.
>>340818679
>dual core
kek
>>340818658
He only allocated $100 for a gpu
>>340813325
replace the GPU with a Sapphire 370X if you cant wait til the end of the month for a 470 or 460; the 2XX series of AMD cards is notoriously dodgy
>>340818825
Then that extra month is time to save 100 dollars for a decent GPU.
>>340818825
a 460 would likely have better performance than a 270X then
also if you're only allocating $100 for a GPU it's time to stop and buy a console because that's well below the price/performance line
>>340818729
More cores doesn't mean shit. A G3258 will outperform an X4 860K or any of AMD's shitty quad-core budget CPUs.
I'm sure you aren't going to use this to do anything other than play games because if you were old enough to have a job you would spend a lot more than fucking $100 on a gpu
In that case, just buy a ps4
>>340819194
Aw shit nigguh. Thanks for clarification.
This thread is a reminder that you can't build a PC for a console price that will run the games at console quality. But if you got money to blow, go PC by all means.
>>340819408
The guy probably wants a new computer too.
>>340813325
check this.Don't go on an AMD-based processor system
http://pcpartpicker.com/b/pfqkcf
or for a better Skylake budget build
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/nV2bvV
(CPU i3 is a solid pick for a budget build,Case is descent for its money with alot of fan adds,PSU is a Thermaltake PSU,which means it will last, mobo is nothing fancy and great, but it could get you started. For RAM I just added some 2400MHz 8GB,you should be fine and last I believe you dont need SSD as it is a budget build, you can save later on and buy a new SSD.Also integrated graphics inside the CPU are quite good, can run on 1080p games, though dont wish for anything big,so you gotta low your settings)
