Bloodborne is fucking awful.

Don't care if you say I suck or that I need to git gud or whatever, the difficulty is just a lame gimmick for marketing purposes, the game is horribly designed, tedious, full of grinding, the controls suck, there's no way to pause, the bosses are unfair bullshit and the game gives you no warning you're even about to fight a boss, it runs poorly and takes a long time to load despite looking like a last gen game, the camera is awful, the level geometry constant blocks your attacks and dodges but not the enemy's, and having to run back to the boss room every single time you die is beyond boring and tedious.
The only positive is that I only wasted $20 on this... not touching any of the Souls games with a ten foot pole after playing this piece of shit.

No game/genre in existence appeals to all players. Some people like the things OP hates, but they definitely don't appeal to everyone. And if OP doesn't like BB, it's probably best if he avoids the other Souls games due to them being very similar in gameplay terms.

True, as is the case with all souls games. It gives the gamer a feeling of superiority, by beating a supposedly hard game he can tell himself that he's better than others. Basic human psychology.
The fact that the developers were too lazy to fix shit like being able to hit enemies through walls and that npc's mouths never move in this game are ridiculous as well. And no, the fact that this was the case in previous souls games as well isn't a fucking excuse. Devs were just too lazy to do some basic programming.

The only objective flaw in OP is that the game runs like shit, which is an exaggeration, but the game doesn't even keep a stable 30 FPS all the time so there's a flaw
Bloodborne is the worst of the Souls series though. Dark Souls 1 and even 2 are better than it, and Demon's Souls completely blows it out of the water.

Please, there are countless other flaws, including exploits like spawncamping, killing enemies through doors and walls, limiting invisible walls (see fishing hamlet, where they were just plain annoying), among others. Just because the OP didn't point them out doesn't mean they don't exist.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the lore and some of the bosses, it was an okay game, but nowhere near as good as the shills make it out to be.

It's my personal GOTY because the level design is the most consistently good of the whole series since Demon's Souls and less bosses from Dark Souls 2 let them put more focus on each one and up the quality a lot more. I enjoyed it a lot. and I can see why people think it's just okay or mediocre like you, but people like OP saying the game is awful because they're bad is like putting a "Fuck my asshole" sign on their forehead

Frame rate was only bad when you rang the Co-Op bell. When you silence it, after people come in, it's fine.

I've always looked at large collections of anything and thought, "You didn't enjoy any of this to any significant degree". Guns, video games, movies, knives, dishes, clothing, anything.
It's just that Bloodborne is fairly "new". Spending $40 for some shit you're just going to throw on the shelf is retarded. Spending $15 for a video game or $5 for a movie from the bargain bin and just tossing it on the shelf to collect dust seems less wasteful.
I'm never impressed by large collections of anything. Or people who brag, "I've been doing this for X years". Some people can do things their entire lives and still be shit at it, I certainly am at some things.
