When you say they have a dynamic what are you talking about exactly? I don't know that I'd say age-gap is a dynamic and that's the only thing I can think of.
PharMercy has a reasonable gameplay dynamic which is more than some ships in the game have. WidowMercy has a slight Doctor/Patient thing going for it but it's been ages since I saw anyone post about that one.
I'm not really complaining, more content is fine with me, and Mercy seems to be getting paired with everyone. But I never got where the D.Va pairing came from beyond Korean artists gravitating to the Korean character.

Even if Amelie wasn't a brainwashed frenemy the dynamic wouldn't be any similiar. There is, what, maybe like 5 years between them, and Lena has been working with Overwatch since she was a teen, so it's not like she is a rookie.
What makes d.va/mercy good for me is mercy's motherly vibe breaking under d.va's crazy enthusiasm (and lust). That said, pharamercy still has captured my heart

The main difference is the Enemy vs. Friend angle. Brainwashing and Time AIDS are character traits, not relationship dynamic. The enemy aspect of it isn't even present in most comics/stories.
Mercy/DVA is super similar to WidowTracer, but, as mentioned, without some of the darker elements present in the older pair.
Feels bad for Pharmercy though. It was pretty bland to begin with and only had the Two Mature Adults thing going for it and now that Worst Korea has latched onto D.Va and Mercy like this, Pharmercy is getting overran.

Nah, I don't feel that at all.
Even if Amelie was never kidnapped by Talon but was just another Overwatch agent, their relationship wouldn't be any similiar to Diva/Mercy. Widow isn't much older than Tracer. Or more experienced than Tracer. Widow's personality also isn't even remotely similiar to Mercy's, nor is Hana's to Tracer really. I don't see it.

I can just say that by your definition Pharmercy is the exact same dynamic as Divamercy and Widowtracer too, because apparently age, personality etc doesn't matter. Pharah is also 5 years younger than Mercy and an Overwatch rookie with lots of determination and ambition so basically she is kinda like Diva anyway, right?

Nothing you are saying makes any sense.
We don't know how Amelie would be if she wasn't "midfucked" but she was, and there is nothing to suggest she would be a Mercy clone if she wasn't, neither does she hold a position similiar to Mercy. Similiarly you can ignore the age gap but there is a difference in dynamic between a doctor and a kinda parental figure and their 18 years younger subordinate and two more or less equal co-workers.
What you are basically saying is these ships would be exactly the same if only you took everything out of one of them and replaced it with something else.

WT (imo) is all about the rush of facing off against each other, the feeling of reconciling with someone you knew when you/they were someone totally different, and the gradual progression into banter that gets more and more affectionate. Some ships just fit better than others or are more interesting or having something going for them to make them a more enjoyable couple.
Although fighting over what pairing is better is retarded i believe you can have pairings that make more sense or create a interesting chemistry where as some more loosely based pairings make creating any media for it feel forced or disjointed.
Most of this is down to preferences but at least for me i would say mei x d.va is a baseless pairing although it's still my favourite only because double qt asians but i think pharmecy is a more grounded pairing.

I actually do think Ana will be back as Sombra. It's a very plausible theory and would make for some good drama bits if Blizzard will do an animated short centred on Pharah at some point (like before or after they decide to add Sombra as a playable character). It's clear she has some sort of "mommy issues" judging by the in-game lines mentioning her mother and such and it would be interesting to see how their mother/daughter dynamic would play out.

My theory (read headcanon) for Sombra is that she was in R&D on Overwatch, and helped in things like developing Reaper's shotguns and S:76's rifle. Upon the demise of Overwatch, she went to south america to help poor people. and upon noticing Talon and Overwatch's movements, decided to take action on her own, much like S:76.
Kind of like Reyes and Morrison were thought to be dead, so was she, and she decided to not join forces with Talon or the recently formed Overwatch.
