Surely Iron Man's team wins this fight? I don't know who the guy in the black is or what he does and Black Widow only has sick skills, but surely TWO super suits that blow up tanks and fighter jets and the Vision who pretty much has god like abilities would fuck Cap America's team up.

Cap America has some skills and a metal shield, his buddy has a metal arm, his other buddy has some metal wings, Hawkeye literally has only a bow. Ant guy probably can't do much and the other chick just farts around trying to trick people.

>>
>>69219814
Wanda's always been stronger than Vision and he was pretty nerfed in flick, but yes, Tony's team wins, but pretty much only because Cap and Bucky had to escaoe to catch Zemo so the rest of the team created a diversion which resulted in them getting captured and Rhodes getting crippled
They were pretty evenly matched until then.

>Tony's team wins

I mean, the battle ended with four of Cap's team in custody, so sort of, but Tony's objective was to apprehend all of them, and Cap's objective was to escape. Cap technically succeeded and Tony failed.

i went to this opening night, was the first movie id seen in 4-5 years

gotta say, 7.5/10 at best

terrible cinematography, lack luster humor, stupid cuts in the action

worst scene was when bucky and cap were running at car speeds, then for some reason take time to get in a car

why get in a car when you can run 65mph? which looked retarded btw

Iron Man outright tells BW their heavy hitters are holding back. Scarlet Witch takes out Widow because Barton was pulling his punches. Neither side wanted casualties; Spider-Man was brought in because his abilities are perfect for apprehending and arresting, which was Iron Man's objective as a government "employee"

>>
Can someone smarter than I explain the scene where Black Panther was talking with Zemo at the end?

Why was Black Panther even there and why doesn't he want to kill Zemo for murdering his papi when he wanted to kill Bucky for the same reason.
>>
>>69228991
He wanted to kill Bucky is the reason he was there. He didn't want to kill Zemo in Revenge because Zemo's whole motivation was revenge. He did not want to stoop to the level of the villain.
>>
>>69228991

The movie paints vengeance as wrong. The Black Panther was motivated by revenge the entire time. Killing Bucky, who he believed to be his father's killer, was how he was trying to cope.

He saw Zemo and got a glimpse at what seeking vengeance like that can do to a man. So, he let go and decided that making Zemo suffer for his crimes was the right thing to do.

Which made the post credits sequence where he flat-out said Bucky was as much of a victim as his dad was all the more powerful.
>>
>>69228991
He tagged along after hearing Bucky was innocent to kill Zemo, but then he realized the depths Zemo sunk to for vengeance and how it was tearing the Avengers apart, and decided to be the bigger man and just let it go. It's pretty old and solid concept that revenge isn't always the best thing, since it doesn't undo anything, and just leads to more hurt.
>>
>>69219314

no kid would ever use the term "nauseous" nice try DCuck
>>
>>69228885

you're right, I remember reading some shit about how in clapistan they can't show a punch connecting before the watershed, which is why Agents of SHIELD got dramatically more violent after it moved to 9pm
>>
>>69228991

He was following Iron Man around in a stealth plane (they make a point of showing this at the Raft prison) and went after him to Siberia.

Then he doesn't kill Zemo because he would be following the same useless path of vengeance that Zemo's been on. Also arguably because the better punishment for Zemo is to live with his loss for a long, long time than to get a swift and merciful end then, but whatever.
>>
>>69228991

he realized white people are crazy letting revenge ruin their lives and didnt want to end up like a dumb cracker
>>
>>69219314
Only mad DCucks have their bodies in such a sorry state that they get nauseus from watching a movie.

all these stories have been written for children and any retarded justification will be sought only by manchildren who will cling to any ''rationalist'' explanation that they can take form their High school physics.
>>
>>69229735
If no one was holding back ANTS would literally fuck up their entire team if not scarlet witch would have.
>>
>>69219314
Here is a trope I literally never understand in movies. Why does getting big suddenly make you slow? You should be able to move at the exact same speed relative to your height, but instead the large person/creature/whatever always lumbers around like a downsyndrome child
>>
>>69230037
In this case it may be a consequence of ANTS not being used to be so big. The only other time he tried it he passed out in the lab, so it may have been him just having a hard time adjusting and it being a kinda new feature compared with the already "perfected" self-shrinking.
>>
>>69230128
Okay but it's in literally every movie with a big person/creature/whatever
>>
>>69229626
I just mean the stone is embedded in his forehead I assume it would would help him. But you're right he got out of it quick enough.

>>69229735
The whole point was to hold back.

>>69230022
The problem with Antman is he only used the power to grow twice and it messed with his brain. And Scarlet witch already fucked up in the beginning by releasing the explosion near a building, and failed to hold the tower vision cut.

>>69230037
I mean when Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann started running it broke the speed of light. I assume big things slow down so relative particles don't break physical limits. Plus human muscles aren't built to support weight like that, and wouldn't be dense enough at that size.
>>
>>69230180
I don't know your weebshit so I can't comment on that. But

>I assume big things slow down so relative particles don't break physical limits.

Is a pretty bad assumption to cover for bad screenwriting
>>
>>69230037
I don't get it either, but I think it's like a self-fulfilling trope at this point. It's now how audiences expect a giant thing to move like in movies, so it'd probably look wrong to them for it to move normally, kinda like how people didn't like the Hobbit's frame rate.
>>
>>69230340
The reference is a robot that is the size of a galaxy. It was the biggest thing I could think of.

>>
>>69230738
That's the first line of Miranda rights, which is what American police say to people as they arrest them.
>>
>>69230525
This makes sense to me

>>69230615
That would at least be interesting. On a macro-scale the whole "breaking the laws of physics" thing could come into play, and it's a worthwhile discussion. My gripe is more with your typical troll, ogre, or genetically mutated human that moves like a sloth relative to their size
>>
>>69230709
I can't tell if you're being serious but even fucking Toby McGuire was a better spider-man than this 12-year-old child
>>
>>69230812
>I can't tell if you're being serious

I have a feeling that you don't actually have a problem telling if I'm serious, considering the fact that this opinion has been pretty standard since the film came out.
>>
>>69230784
Like I said in my original post, as a human literally just increasing his size, the way his muscles work, shouldn't. But yeah you're right it's just a trope probably, and it's more interesting for big fast things to be on screen than big slow things.

The Fifth Amendment of the US constitution protects you from being forced to incriminate yourself. Daredevils fight was like 10 minutes long, and was one of the best I've seen. For the like 2 minutes of this film this one took up it had great choreography. The first showing I went to for some reason was a lot clearer, I think the projector the second time was a little darker, but I didn't think shake cam was a factor. The fight had tons of cool uses of the characters powers, like bucky blocking bullets with his hand, using the battering ram with his robot arm, the sheer force of him and caps hits and throws. It was great, but if you look for reasons to hate it in sure youll find a few.

You remember in the first movie, how he took a tank shell right to the chest and it only chipped the paint?

In the Avengers it was tanking direct hits from Thor's hammer and it didn't even dent the chestplate? Or how Thor pounded on his suit and tossed him around and he wasn't falling part?

Then in IM3, any guy with some superheated arms could tear his suit to shreds.

Now they don't even have to be heated. You can pretty much just grab the reactor right out of his chest if he isn't paying attention.

Movie was okay. Too many niggers in London though.

I love how you are blatantly refusing to acknowledge IM2's Silver/Red suit that whiplash tore apart seconds after it was put on. Weak.

Also, the scene in Avengers with Cap, Thor, and IM fighting had Ironman looking outclassed in every respect when compared to the spot with Thor gonging Cap's shield. In layman's terms, he took punishment, but couldn't dish shit. Weakx2.

I'll give you the tank spot in IM1, but that doesn't change the fact that the suit was still fucked in the last fight and he only managed a win through sheer willpower.

Weakx3

The suitcase suit was a quick getup, portability vs offense/defense capability. I'm pretty sure that suit couldn't even fly.

But that wasn't a full on suit, anymore than you could compare a iPod to a Full Tower PC.

The nature of caps shield is what was able to push away Thor, since it was Thor's own power reflecting.

Cap wouldn't be able to take or dish anywhere near what Tony could if they'd gotten into a longer sustained fight the way Tony's suit did. Thor would just grab the shield and rip it off and then he's done.

And IM1, Tony's had his heart effectively toast for 10 minutes, his suits running on low power conservation on a reactor not meant for it, against a suit 5 times it's size.

Yes, Stark gets beat, but the guys who he was fighting against him with a full power suit, ie Thor, Monger, ect are way beyond Cap and Winter Soldiers league.

Just because Mike Tyson got his ass kicked in a few fights doesn't mean some straw weight could come by and hope to do the same.

That was just a projection of RDJ's wishes.

anyone else started laughing and thinking about refuggees when tony got all weepy talking about black kid IBM superstar who will build a fucking kingdom for his people?

Is this film capekino or is my older sister a pleb?

Curious what that kid's mom thought of her son's chances of survival if Ultron had managed to drop that floating landmmass after all. I know people get irrational when it comes to death blah blah blah but come on, lady.

Bleeding Edge in Infinity Wars, right?

Shitposting aside, I can't believe this scene exists, let alone as the cornerstone of their marketing. It looks like a parody. Mighty superheroes brawling outside an airport like punks fight in mall parking lots.

Does anyone know the context of it? Why are they even there?

>>69236190
Idiots, she's complaining because Tony BUILT Ultron, not because they failed to save him.

What's up with /pol/tards complaining about this scene for days now?
This sensitive, irrelevant cucks?

What's the point then?

If you, y'know, watched the movie you'd know.

Because they don't care about /tv/ neckbeards whining about cinematography and the masses think it looks good.

Had a hard laugh when /tv/ spent like 2 months saying
>b-b-b-but parking lot
and suddenly everyone started praising that fight.

Anon, you might be a manchild, but don't assume we all are. Now make your life failures useful and answer the question.

Caps crew are trying to reach the quinjet, a super plane that can get them to the place where the bad guy is doing bad things secretly.
Iron man and his posse are trying to arrest them because reasons.
They clash at the airport where the jet is. Iron man's team knew cap and the others were coming so they had the airport evacuated for the fight.
>why is batman fighting bane in a sewer
>I can't believe they marketed superman fighting zod in a construction site

This. Spider-Man was ruined because he looked entirely CG the whole time. I don't understand why every fucking shot of him has to be rendered. I guess it's cause he'd look cheesy as just a guy in a plain suit.
>>
>>69236629
Gritty scenes suit Batman and I didn't bother with Man of Kino, but thanks for actually answering the question.
>>
>>69236741
The locations i think are fairly neutral because they have to fit the color schemes and tones of 10+ characters. When you have spidermans costume, caps costume, and fucking vision, along with black panther and such, you don't have many options to actually make a visually clear fight scene among all of them.
>>
I really enjoyed the diversity and prominent female roles

You idiots think him standing on the car was CG?
Really?
Please say yes so I can screencap your stupidity.

Yeah, nah, either watch the movie or fuck off.

Yeah it really was a shitty movie.

3 Hours (if you include credits and post credit scenes which SUCKED)

This isnt the first bad MCU movie ive seen but its too much like Avengers 2 everyone just sits around talking then the action is underwhelming.

Of course it peaked with Iron Man 1 and Captain America 2 Winter soldier

Yes, the way his muscles and stuff tensed looked way over-animated. At the very least they augmented more than just the eyes. It looks weird.

I just want to see Spider-Man, not a Spider-Man animatic.
