I'm not but I will watch it and I think it has a lot of potential. As silly as it sounds, the fact that the series starts with a prom is what's given me the most hope for it. Not because I'm at all interested in seeing a prom, but because most shows would set the prom as the finale and the first episode would be about the first day of school. So the fact that they're doing things differently right out the gate makes me feel like that could be a common theme and goal of the showrunner. I don't know. Not only was Robert Holmes quite busy with rewriting Ark in Space from scratch at the time but many of the central themes featured in Genesis were also broached by Terry Nation in his 10th anniversary short story We Are the Daleks.
Wouldn't be surprised if Nation was actually capable of writing a great story and his Pertwee stories were so bland because he was too lazy to put any actual effort into them and he just needed a little push.
