collective stupidity

I mean, that's gotta be it

it doesn't even feel natural to watch and most, if not all, theaters don't bother to heighten the luminosity of the projector lamps in order to increase brightness/ contrast which the glasses dim to an obnoxious amount

I have never seen a film in 3 Dimensions.

Should I?

If so, what films are best in 3 Dimensions?

Disney's™ Star Wars®: The Force Awakens©, in theaters now, anon!

I'm sure Bernie Sanders will buy you a 3D TV if you vote for him.
>>
>>64387665

Thanks

Further Question:

is there any film that has purely been made for 3 Dimensions viewing?
>>
>>64387665
I actually preferred seeing TFA in 3D versus 2D.
>>
>>64387456
Is there something wrong with this? She's enforcing traditional gender roles.

Went to a Dolby Cinema recently and it finally redpilled me on 3D

I KNOW

HOW DO PEOPLE NOT NOTICE THIS? MY THEATER WAS CLUELESS WHEN I BROUGHT IT UP

>If so, what films are best in 3 Dimensions?
movies with as much vertical motion as possible

Toy Story 3 is a good example of a movie that had no business being 3D because most of the action was horizontal

Thank you for the reply.

However, I am confused as horizontal and vertical are points on a 2 dimensions coordinate plane. How does vertical motion help 3 Dimensions viewing?

same reason people pretend to like color
>>
>>64388027

Thanks
>>
You have to be pretty stupid to not understand that 3D is simply the logical technological progression of the movies, just like color and higher framerates.
>>
Force Awakens had some pretty cool subtle 3D shit. Like the flame embers floating around.

Emperor's new clothes

Original House of Wax
Creature from the Black Lagoon
Pacific Rim
Mad Max Fury Road

3D is too expensive for blacks. So 3D is saving movies imho

As someone who wears glasses is it even possible for me to watch a 3d movie?
Can't see glasses over glasses being comfortable.
>>
>>64389715
I wear glasses and it's fine.
It's obvious they would have to make it work considering a large portion of people wear glasses.

Name a single reason why 3D is "inferior" to 2D.
>>
>>64389825
That's what i would imagine but i've never seen/heard anyone bring the issue up before.
>>
Only movie so far with me for 3D was Avatar. Also if you sit to close or those are the only seats the movie is a fucking blur during action scenes.

They do?
Even the most normie of friends i have doesn't prefer 3D of 2D.

When i talked to one of the cinama employees he told me they stopped showing movies in 2D because they had to make a profit from the 3D equipment, and almost nobody was going to the 3D versions.
>>
It's getting to the point where they need to intentionally insert cheesy 3D effects where something reaches out at you or something just to make people realize that there is 3D in the movie or justify paying extra for it.

3D was used better in spy-kids 3D than it is today.
>>
>>64390284

I went to see Star Wars TFA a couple days after it came out and the 2D showings were sold out but 3D wasn't. When I went into the 3D theater, there was hardly anyone in it.
>>

>hating on 3D

It's the natural way to view a movie cause it's how our eyes see the world, 2D is a limitation, if they could have 3D built in without glasses no one would watch 2D.

Jurassic Park 3D
Dredd
Gravity

>>
>>64388059

OK, I fucked that one up. Movies that don't explore depth are what I meant. How to Train Your Dragon, Megamind, things that generally involve flying are good.

Movies where no one flies and the action is flat don't benefit from 3D.

Not that guy but here you actually take them home with you.
That way they can make more money from selling you the glasses.

Ofcourse the quality is shit and they break easily so you can pay for more glasses at the next movie, Goyim :^)
>>
>>64390889
That's why VR with eye tracking is the absolute future and logical conclusion to all visual media.
>>
Because 3D is always a plus and the tickets cost the same as 2D movies.

understood, thanks m8
