What's everyone's most recently watched episode of Star Trek? How did you like it? I'm currently watching pic related. Scotty dindu nuffin.

Remember Me
Dr. Crusher episodes are the fucking best
>>64062049
I watch TOS and TNG yearly, so my last ep was All Good Things... (TNG)
10/10 ep
Probably something from Deep Space Nine when I tried and failed to get through the first season.

You misspelled worst
>>64062187
It gets better. I'm on season 3 and its pretty okay. A few GOAT episodes.
>>64062183
The fact that they made Crusher a captain was pretty silly though
>>64062187
Justskipto the last two episodes of season one.
I'm watching "Fistful of Datas" from TNG. Fun & relaxing episode, but that's mainly because Data and Worf are my favorite characters.
>>64062154
Surely you must be joking. Crusher isn't the worst (Troi is the worst) but you'd only LOVE her episodes if she was your waifu.
>>64062492
True... but she was a pretty shitty Captain of a pretty shitty ship.
>>64062583
>skipping duet
>skipping bajoran terrorism
It's like you don't want him to enjoy the series
>>64062678
Read that post again?
>>64062648
Troi is bad due to uselessness but Crusher is worst by sheer blandness.
>>64062690
my bad
>take me out to the holosuite
>Nog can't find a player he has to take and asks Odo what to do
>Worf: FIND HIM AND KILL HIM
What a comfy episode
>>64062810
Agreed. Gates McFadden was the weakest actress on the show. I thought her bad acting was the original reason for leaving in season 2 and being replaced...but then she came back in season 3.
Still, Troi is so dull. She didn't have too many hobbies outside of her role as a counselor for other people. She liked chocolate and old western movies. But that's as far as her character went. Oh and she has her annoying mother around too. Fuck.
>>64063247
*he has to tag
>>64062049
Mudd's Women. Unexpected feels.
>>64063299
Troi is a close second, but chocolate and her relationship with her mother/riker is leagues more character than Crusher has.
watching The Trouble with Tribbles right now. Max comfy.
>>64065157
All those Tribbles are dead or dying.
Your "max comfy" episode climaxes with Kirk surrounded by animal corpses.
>>64062678
>Peak Performance
Underrated. Maybe the best TNG episode.

yeah buddy, great episode. I wouldn't say best, but surely underrated.
Just finished watching the changeling.
If i was going to adapt a star trek episode into a movie it would be this one. One the most star trek like episodes of them all, just think about how great it would be to see this, on the big screen with a bigger budget, an extra hour to flush out the concepts and dread of this nearly omnipotent machine with it's hard mechanical logic fucking about with the crew and ship while kirk and the gang attempt to figure out how to disable it.
>>64066826
"I busted him up" triggers my trek autism, so I don't like it very much.

>this whole fucking bit
>>64066913
You should make it a TNG movie though, and throw in some stuff about Riker and Troi's relationship.
And make Riker a pedophile.

Why do you write like a Pakled?

>>64062049
The last Star Trek episode I watched was "Space Seed," a year and a half ago.
I watched in preparation for my first ever viewing of Wrath of Khan.
>>64062049
Watching through DS9 right now. Forgot how packed full of good shit it is. Right now watching "Broken Link" at the end of season 4. Weyoun has only made one appearance, so get to look forward to more of him. More garak, more dukat... Still haven't gotten into any of the Julian is genetically engineered shit or the secret police/whatever they are called. Also, new cute Dax.
Conversely, there are always more Bajor episodes to ruin the mood.
Does anyone remember, about 10 years ago, a youtube channel that made a bunch of TNG videos where he took episodes and edited them in a really weird but funny as fuck way? It was random crazy editing, but done in a really funny way?
I tried to find them on YT for the past few years and couldnt find them anymore

This was a fantastic episode, but I think the plot is a bit too simplistic to be a full feature length film.

I thought Wrath of Khan was alright.
It felt like more of an extended episode than a movie, which a lot of movie adaptations of TV shows do. It seemed rather small-scale and contained for a movie plot. I mean, the crew of the Enterprise faces a crisis orchestrated by a force hell-bent on destroying Captain Kirk every other week. The only difference is that Khan is an implacable blast from the past come to finish off Kirk after he's already retired from space exploration.
If the movie were released today, shot for shot and with the exact same delivery, I don't think it would be looked back on as the classic we see it as. It is of course somewhat reliant on the context and characterization already built by the show, meaning it is only a movie for fans. However, the acting is good enough that the characters' personalities and lives are instantly communicated, so I'd bet even someone who has never seen the original series would not be too lost or uninvested.

The Emperor's New Cloak
I'm watching A Piece of the Action right now. Some anon the other day said that this was his favorite TOS episode, I can certainly understand why. Later series holodeck episodes wish they could be this good.
