The "Fox Force Five" thing that Uma Thurman's character describes in Pulp Fiction was the basis for Kill Bill, and KB was originally supposed to explicitly be an adaptation of this script e.g. a movie set within the world of Pulp Fiction, featuring Uma's character as the actress who plays Beatrix.
People who autistically believe in the "Tarintinoverse" and desperately hold on to any scrap of evidence they can find say this is still true for the final movie, but no one knows if it really is. There are some pretty big differences between Kill Bill and how "Fox Force Five" was described in Pulp Fiction, even if the similarities are obvious.

She was ruthless, jealous, and insane. And judging by their phone conversation in part 1, it's obvious she and Bill were fucking. She was jealous of Beatrix for being Bill's preferred lover, and the mother of his child, and saw anyone who'd take that kill from her as worth murdering in vengeance.
As for the choice of the black mamba, that was probably irony for the same reason since Beatrix's codename was Black Mamba.

Tough to choose a favorite, or best girl or whatever, but man, I loved her. Her chic, icy, sexiness, the way she spoke and moved.

The story I always heard was that Kill Bill 3 will be about the grown-up black girl from the beginning of the first movie, whose mom Beatrix kills, getting trained by Elle to seek out revenge on Beatrix. Kill Bill Part 3 will be Kill Beatrix / Kill the Bride / something like that.
In fact, if QT uses the same actress for the black girl, it could very well still happen if he wants to. He even rumbled about shooting some introductory scenes with her, for a third movie to be made sometime in the future, many years ago.
There's a lot of evidence to suggest Elle died, but that question mark over Darryl Hannah's name, when all the other DVAS members who died get crossed out, during the credits is an obvious sequel hook.
