I agree. I'm still trying to find a way to draw the Louds where you can still recognize them, but in a way that feels more flexible for the expressions I want. Because right now, the designs are more animation friendly than illustration friendly. By that, I mean that the designs have side mouths and reused assets to cheat some of the angles the characters move at. It sorta makes sense because Savino really wants this to look like a comic strip so no complex angles or anything, so it means I have to figure out how to keep the appeal and bend the rules around when drawing them from, well, those tricky angles because I'm not bound to the same idea.

My grandma loved me. During my early childhood, my parents were going through a lot of rough patches and me and my sister ended up in my grandparent's care for most of my early childhood. What my point is anon is that a lot of people react differently to when loved ones die, don't beat yourself about it and don't let anyone else tell you other wise.
