You could base an episode off of that.
Steven tells Garnet that he's only ever met Ruby and Sapphire when they're under distress that forced Garnet apart, so he's never really had a chance to get to know them individually. Garnet separates, we have a bit of time showing the two of them interacting with Steven and each other, then something happens that makes it so they can't fuse, wacky antics happen, they fuse back to Garnet by the end of the episode and we get some backstory of how the two met and became Garnet, and characterization of Ruby and Sapphire as distinct characters.

I didn't know what color the backside of Sardonyx' coat tail was supposed to be, so I watched her scene again.
First time it shows up is actually an animation error I guess. She lands and it flaps up, showing the back as orange like I did in the edit.
But, looking at her character sheet, and when she does her "ELEGANT" leap, it's the same dark blue as her top.
So... Yeah, here's a fix.
Honestly, I think this makes it harder to tell it's her. That bright warm color really helps tie her design together.
