Otacute was my favorite.
I bought my figma Reimu, Link, Konata and Kagami Summer Uniform versions, and sets A and B of the Nendoroid Japanese Life playset.
They always had the best prices and threw in rubber straps and crap.

Man, this reminded me how I entered my mascot idea for Otacute years ago.
I was such a tard I accidentally sent in the wrong size and the guy was kind enough to try and resize it himself because he personally liked my design.
I miss them. Such a shame they aren't around anymore.

I'm considering ordering from HLJ and Hobby Search but I'm kind of wary after failing a payment with some other store. Also, the horror stories about HLJ's shipping prices.

Amiami has much worse shipping prices because of their obscene packing. HLJ just toxes your shit in a box and that's what you get, so their shipping prices are lower than amiami.

HLJ's sales are so underrated. I always find 3-5 things that are really cool in them. I guess like 3 years ago there where better sales apparently, but I wasn't importing then.

My favorites are HLJ, Mandarake and Amiami, in that order. Runners up are Hobbysearch & Nippon Yasan.
In the US, I really like Sprue Brothers for paint supplies. They are my go to online shop for Tamiya sprays.
What is a good option to buy western shit outside of America?
I want to get some of the Crime Syndicate guys but Amazon is garbage when not handling books.
