So I haven't purchased a Legends figure since ToyBiz was making then, and holy hell they've gotten awesome. I'm really digging Daredevil ans the AIM soldier. Where might a person acquire these at a reasonable price, or at all?

Not sure which characters you're interested in but if its true you haven't purchased any Legends since ToyBiz then I recommend picking up the recent Spidey and Carnage as well. They're both great figures. Ghost Rider is one of my favorites as well.
Hasbro isn't known for quality but they manage to pump out some gems from time to time especially in the 6 inch scale.

Articulation is a big thing. I Really like the red Daredevil, but the AIM Soldier is awesome too. I just cant find either of then under 30. Maybe it's been a while since I've bought an action figure but damn these fucker got expensive.

Haven't broken him or felt like I was going to get. The wrist pegs are really small but haven't given me any problems. If you're looking for cheap movie style Spidey look no further.
I recently snagged a Spider Gwen and Ben. Was Marvel Legends' plastic always so gummy? I always thought ML was at least a little better than DCUC but fuck, I guess years with Japanese toys helped me forget that.

Gummy plastic has been a problem since the Toybiz days depending on the figure.
The Wave 13 Loki I have has some of the gummiest plastic I've ever seen on any figure at all. The Spider-Man Classics Hobgoblin has some rubbery joints too.

Yep there were Legends and Universe. Also found some Black Series SW stuff but there wasn't much. GS is really stepping up their collectibles game. I didn't even find any Legends at FYE which was completely revamped at my mall, only old series with spidergirl.

There's a lack of flimsy weapon accessories in the latest wave I've noticed.
I think the big piss off with Venom is that his chest spider decal is a bit shitty. Comparing the ones I have there's a varying degree of fade on the edges of the design, almost like a stencil was used. The paintjob on the spare head has issues with the tooth color overlapping onto the gums but it's not that huge. I wish they'd pay attention to those details as much as they did with the mongoloid Absorbing Man heads.

I've only taken up to second year anatomy classes and i can already tell that while the dude can render well, he has no clue how human anatomy works. Ridiculous spine curvature aside, if you can see that much of Psylocke's back, there is no way you should be able to see that much of her tiddy. This Psylocke viewed from the front would be a horror show, with a foot-wide gap between her tits or tits pointing in extreme opposite directions. Cover up the lower half of her body and look at how weird that looks. There are numerous other anatomical problems too, but I'm not here to talk all day, just popped in to say that Vallejo is a big name but that doesn't mean he's without flaws.

plus accuracy is usually not the ultimate goal of an artist. Take frazetta, his bodies are probably more exaggerated, more inaccurate to a real person, but he's a superior artist in everyway to Vallejo.
