/v/ believes that Legos are a more prudent investment than prostitutes

Do you agree with the reasoning?
>>
/v/ plays Lego licensed video games so their arguments are invalid.
>>
>>5343575
I'll put you under "Pro-Prostitutes" then
>>
>>5343568
God help me but /v/ is right.

Prostitutes cost you money and pretty much achieve what I can do with one hand only with the chance of an STD :^)
>>
>>5343568
I think the return of investement from owning prostitutes is higher than zero, so they got Lego beat.
>>
>>5343647
This isn't talking about owning, this is talking about sleeping with. In which case, you've got it backwards since you can resell legos for a pretty good chunk of what you paid, if not more, and if you sleep with a prostitute, that money is gone in 37 seconds. (I timed myself.)
>>
>>5343568
Legos don't give me herpes
>>
>>5343575
>/v/ plays

/v/ doesn't play games, like how /toy/ doesn't play with toys.

>/toy/ doesn't play with toys.
>Implying
Maybe you don't but I certainly do.
>>
You can't invest in buying a prostitute for a night anymore than you can invest in a single chocolate bar. Lego on the other hand is plastic gold, and it's documented that even drug dealers take Lego as payment since it's untraceable and usually rises in value over time. Hell, gold bullion would probably be worth more if it had studs on the top and holes on the bottom.

That said, I'd buy a clean, pretty hooker once and spend the rest of the money on Lego.
>>
>>5343654
Well yeah, but the value they were talking about with Lego was the resell value, which would only be comparable to the income you can generate by keeping hoes.

Otherwise we're just talking about spending money on products vs services, where a service usually doesn't generate a ROI of any sort, unless we're talking about getting advice from a specialist in some field.
>>
Wait, can /v/ not get a girlfriend and actually have to pay women to sleep with them? What a new low, coming from a father of two who I can play with all the lego I provide for them, who my loving wife provided for me being 7 years togerher. :)
>>
>>5343710
Don't say you're married! /pol/ will come in and tell you how women killed marriage and you'll wind up a bitter, penniless divorcee accused of rape and pedophilia.
>>
>>5343721
That's /r9k/. Pol's where the people are who want to have babies with Prussian Blue.
>>
I pay prostitutes to play Lego with me.
>>
>>5343656

You might get some sexually trasmitted disease if you ever buy second hand lego from a 4channer.

Woah, what?! I'm gonna need a source on that. I'm not calling your post bullshit. I just want to read/watch whatever media involves drugs AND Lego.

>Interestingly, Lego bricks have been gaining importance among criminals for quite some time. From Silicon Valley executives to thugs in Florida, and from conmen in Oklahoma to drug dealers in Amsterdam, people have not just been able to turn the Danish building blocks into fat stacks of Benjamins, but have even started to accept them as payment, reported Telegraaf.

From an article linked back there:

>Drugsdealer laat zich betalen met Lego-dozen

Een Groningse drugsdealer heeft een wel zeer bijzonder betaalmiddel ontdekt. Als zijn junks geen geld hebben voor drugs, accepteert hij ook Lego.
(After google translate)
>Groningen A drug dealer has a rather special tender discovered. If his junkies have no money for drugs, he also accepts Lego.

I think it sounds more like an incidental case being blow out of proportion by these newspapers... but... man...

So the LEGO company is one step away from, literally, printing money?!

>Een Groningse drugsdealer heeft een wel zeer bijzonder betaalmiddel ontdekt. Als zijn junks geen geld hebben voor drugs, accepteert hij ook Lego.

A Groningen (city) drugdealer has discovered a very peculiar currency. When his junkies don't have money, he'll also accept Lego.

The story you linked says how a woman stole lego sets worth +-200 euro (217$) to trade for drugs, and how lego is easily sold again.
>>
>>5343568
not legos atleast maybe a 1/2 or 1/3 scale doll
>>
>>5348684
Nah, shit like this has happened before. When currency is shit people use commodities in their place. I remember reading that pre-Mao China had outrageous inflation and government workers basically used all their money to buy table salt because it actually had more buying power than the flimsy legal tender of China then.
