That's like a goddamn unicorn, anon. Are you sure Slaanesh is real? Haven't heard about it in ages from official fluff, let alone it actually doing anything.

>Are you sure Slaanesh is real?
Is there a chance, like in canon, that Slaan doesn't exist? Like, actually, really. Is some sort of Tzeentech illusion or something.

Slaanesh most certainly still exists in 40K, and has absolutely zero signs of going away. Daemon World, a book recently released, is basically a giant battle between Khornate and Slaaneshi followers with Word Bearers fucking around in the middle of it. In fact, it's stated that the most effective and powerful warriors in the Maelstrom are the Violators chapter, who are Slaaneshi.a lot of them get ate by a Bloodthirster, though, because the Bloodthirster is a hot-shit Bloodthirster pretty high up on the totem pole.
Don't believe the "SLAANESH IS KILL IN 40K" memes.

Well, the Maelstrom is very small for a Warp Storm, and while the Red Corsairs are SIGNIFICANTLY larger and more powerful, the actual quality of the warrior of the Violators is higher. They're also led by a not-quite-insane Dreadnought who has basically ripped open his sarcophagus so he can feel things again, and is basically dragging nerve endings.
Their form of Slaaneshi corruption is to be perfect warriors, though they're also not above the sex-drugs-rock-and-roll of the Slaaneshi cultists who serve them.
It was actually a very interesting take on an often-underwritten part of the faction, and greatly expanded the lore for Slaaneshi cultists.the book was aight. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. If you like Chaos, it's a good read..
Why do so many of the warhammer characters have skulls on their armor? Even the Primarchs pre-heresy had skulls on their armor.

Re-released perhaps, it's pretty old. Violators should be mentioned more though.

I challenge you to count all 117 skulls in this image not counting the 6 still in heads
