How is Interface Zero? How does it compare to Cyberpunk 2020? Shadowrun?
Also Cyberpunk thread

Fuck this trash, OP get the fuck out

It's medium crunch, similar to CP2020 in that way and less crunchy than Shadowrun.
The setting is very detailed, technology is updated to the modern world (so superior to CP2020) and there's tonnes of info on various countries and cities.
One difference is that in IZ there are clone, android and furry "races", though they're not common, but it leans a bit more in the transhumanist direction.
Hacking is still too complex and jargon-laden, so not really an improvement, and it has both virtual reality "cybercombat" and augmented reality objects hacking.
No magic in IZ, so for cyberpunk purists it's clearly better than Shadowrun.

I've never played it before but thanks for the reply I guess.
Yeah it's the best straight cyberpunk game on the market. I love it, personally, but getting people to step out of the Shadowrun safe space to try it is nearly impossible.

I'm a big fan of 2020 for the 80s technology like Beta max
I'm planning to run a 4 player detective game, probably have them on an anti gang/organized crime task force so hacking times shouldn't be an issue.

Hacking rules* bloody autocorrect

It's based on a terrible system and is filled with tranny/furry bullshit. Avoid like the plague
Any BRP % cyberpunk games?
>inb4 fucking eclipse phase.
>>46051617
BRP can be a cyberpunk system any time you want, just like GURPS
>>46051625
I just wanted something pre-packed. No leg work from me. Suppose I could reskin a modern CoC and fudge hacking via skill rolls.
>>46051607
>tranny/furry bullshit
What.
>>46051636
Yep, that would be really easy.
Honestly though if you can't handle "legwork" then you are not cut out to GM

It's a lifecycle thing, really. If you're a roleplayer in high school or early college, you've got more than enough free time to sit down and build the perfect system for whatever you're looking to play, but as time goes on you find yourself under heavier and heavier time constraints. Older roleplayers are more likely to want a reasonably simple system that does what it say it does right out of the box, while a younger roleplayer is willing to spend all of summer vacation kitbashing D&D into the perfect engine for running a game of Final Fantasy 7. Both sides tend to think the other guy is a huge fag for having different priorities.

Kid, it’s not a personal failing to be a college graduate who has to go to a 9-5 job. I just don’t have the time to sit down a learn a new system whenever I want to anymore, let alone undertake an extensive homebrewing project. Some of my friends are actually married with kids, so they’ve got even less time to work with. It’s a minor miracle that we manage to get together as often as we do, but when we do it’s going to be D&D night because that’s something we all know already. Once you’re in your thirties you’ll understand.

Yup, this is correct. Out of the box IZ is quite good for a pure cyberpunk experience, though personally I'm not a big fan of Savage Worlds.
Ignore the troll, he just wants attention.

Well, it is a Savage Worlds thread. It's literally a teething ring RPG with rules to ensure that everyone's diaper remains fresh no matter how shitty things get

I get that you don't like Savage Worlds, I've only ever played it for Deadlands.
At least put some effort into your shit posting, calling people shills is pretty basic
