You shall, first of all, see if your mighty Leman Russ can aim fast enough to shoot it with the main cannon, unless there are more important targets.
If your crew cannot aim with the cannon, the blessed sponson mounted weaponry will be your salvation, for even the Heavy Bolter will surely be enough to destroy the enemy, and both Plasma and Las will effortlessly lay waste to it.
If even the Sponsons can't aim at the target, then, use the Pintle-mounted weapon, recite the Litany of Precise Aiming, and open fire while chanting the Litany of Curses.

If you're a single tank, it's easy as shit actually. Single tanks without support play a scout role, and you don't stay anywhere long enough to get flanked. Full speed all day. In, out, hit 'em as you fly past and home before dinner.
