The term "monstergirl" is demeaning and infantilizing. We hardly hear "monsterboy", men are just "monsters", but everyone assumes that if it has some tertiary sexual characteristics then it's somehow fair game to treat it as less fiendish than its counterpart.
I am tired of adventurers treating us like some misunderstood easy lay. We should not have to be beautiful under their standards, and when we slaughter, it should be treated as every bit as much of a tragedy.
I understand that sometimes monsters of the same race under different genders exhibit differences in natural or supernatural ability and an easy distinction may be necessary in the adventuring trade however, as such I propose that from this day forward, the phrase "monstergirl" be outlawed and we of the fair sex and freaky species be referred to as "monstress", or "monstresses" for plural.
