Can we have a thread about Savage Worlds? Going to be running my first game in the system sometime soon and i'd like to have some discussion about it

Yes, do have a thread. It's perfectly board related.
Would be nice of you if you bumped vocaroo thead before making this one, though.

why would i bump another thread before making my own?
i cant even find a vocaroo thread in the catalog

okay, whatever, i dont care, i wanna know about fa/tg/uys experiences with Savage Worlds.
im planning on running a cyberpunk style, 80's movie campiness campaign in it, with the Interface Zero supplement and i want to know if theres anything i need to keep in mind. Up until now we've only run DnD 4e/5e stuff
What are some good settings for SW?
Interface Zero looks good.

50 Fathoms is pretty cool, I'm running a desert campaign and the Hellfrost; Lands of Burning Fire book has some really great desert rules that've made shit super easy.

IZ has good reputation for doing old school cyberpunk. Some of the background information is pretty stupid (like all of Australia getting wiped out by a plague) but it's easy to ignore.

I like the look of Weird War 2.
Just as 3.PF is babby's first D&D games, Savage Worlds is babby's first generic system.

I like SW, but I like to reduce it even firther. An official SW core would be pretty great.

Get rid of vigor and replace it with Str.
