In episode 5, the bird repeatedly tries to answer the phone and take things in a different direction, only for the singing food to retcon his choice and keep things going the way they want them to.
Not to mention Big Red being killed off for going off-track and stepping out of bounds.
Assuming Roy was responsible for all this, I think that counts as railroading, so no.
