Q - How do I play?
A - It's a CYOA, there are no established mechanics for the rescue. All the pages to the game are in the imgur album linked in resources.
Q - Why aren't/are we we working on; Fan Gen II/Knights/combat mechanics/etc.
A - No. We recognize that spreading out our efforts is what originally killed the project. Accordingly, we're focusing on just one thing at a time and finishing them out.
Q - Hey, can we make a pricness about X fetish?
A - It generally comes down to what people like. Propose the idea and see if others want it.
Q - Is there a map/unified setting?
A - Nope. Though proposals have been made, nothing concrete has been created.
Q - Can I post fanart/fanfiction here?

Anybody doing new cards at the moment? We got Lillend Princess and a second Mimic Princess (although I'm not sure if she's quite done) last thread.
I could try making some tomorrow or Thursday, although I don't know what gen's cards should be used. Is there still room in fan gen 2 (there's 10 slots taken by the ones in the original fan chart, and some others that have been made since, although I'm not sure if they've been carded)?
I was thinking of a few Knights to help fill up that list too. A few were Necromancer Knight, Mage Knight, Death Knight, and Girl Knight.

I've seen a lot of new princess designs, but no completed cards for fan gen 2. I suppose we should just start working on them, and if we still have princesses left after reaching 10, or however many we need, just use the remainder for fan gen 3.

Original idea was that the knight cards could eventually be used in a simple RPG, but we haven't made that (yet). Some people have run Towergirls, or Towergirls-inspired, games on existing systems, though. I'd suggest something rules-light, maybe Fate or Risus.

So I've been drawing some Goblin Princess, and I had a thought;
A follow-up CYOA that involves building your crown. If you're marrying a princess, it follows that one must become a king. What kind of king will you become, though? Build a crown that represents and compliments your rule with different strengths and powers given by different materials, inlays, gemstones, ec cetra.

Some anon has been making one using modified Warmachine rules. Dunno if he's posted the exact rules, but he's done stats for Kobold and Goblin armies, and is working on Mimic army. Each army has a Princess (works like Warcaster in Warmachine) and four units (2 troops, and one "special" and "heavy support" unit).

First draft on trying to make a card for Lilliden Princess (gen 2 style, since I think we don't have all the extra princesses we need for that yet, at least not carded). Anybody has good idea for the god's worship and renounce effects, and for the lust bonus. I'm thinking a magical mask or musical instrument, as lillends are associated with those. I'm mostly basing the stuff on the Planescape-era description (found here; http://www.lomion.de/cmm/lillend.php), plus some stuff from later edition entries.
The posities should be pretty self-explanatory (lillends are chaotic good creatures that love art and music, and are known to take interest in mortal artists and act as their muses). The negatives come from them having mercurial tempers and from the mention in the Planescape entry that they like to gorge themselves until they fall into torpor (and also can apparently digest nearly anything and produce no waste). The fetish for nudity comes from lillends being noted to not wear clothes. Not sure what the other fetish should be.

I would like it if we updated Dragonprincess69 and Serpent Princess. Dragonprincess69 was the original I believe but got changed to Serpent Princess for a couple reasons likely (Not needing another dragon, stupid name, not being able to use the art anymore, etc) but there are a couple things that I like more from the original design. My proposal is to split them up into two princesses.
Dragonprincess69:
She could be renamed to either Dragon Princes VI or changed to be Wyvern Princess II for the next fan gen or something along that line to update her.
While the dowries are originally hers, I think they suit Serpent Princess more, and she can now be given bonuses that better match the new gen she could be put in.
Serpent Princess:
She can keep the dowries, but I think the trait descriptions that were taken from Dragonprincess69 should be returned and replaced.
The nudist / mage crafter attributes work better on what could either be the new dragon / wyvern princess and fit better with the fetishes and lust bonus from original dragonprincess69.
Last point: We could also use some other name for dragon/wyvern since she does not quite look like a wyvern with current art.

Well you could possibly renounce an idol and then use Dragon Princess II to take the worship bonus from the same idol.
Or take the worship bonus of an idol and have the Imp princess curse you with the renounced effect.

Most seem open to interpretation but the way it seems is:
1. Only Gen 3. Gen 4 has the Dragon Hoard and Gen 5 will eventually have armies.
2. Most bonuses like that would not take an extra wagon slot. She would likely save a princess after you return from the quest.
3. You can spend a point of wealth or power I think.

1. You save a companion in the generation that you find them. (Gen 3 Companions in Gen 3, Gen 4 Items and Companions in Gen 4, etc.)
2. I've personally never ruled it as a freebie, since you still have to take them home with you. It's just a nice way of getting a companion without taking the princess. (GM Princess likes to use it to steal DP3's imaginary friend.)
3. Yes. As the other person said, by either taking the renounced and then using DP2's ability or taking the worship and using Imp's ability.

Update on Lillend Princess. Still needs a second fetish and the flufftext (plus art for the god and lust item, but I'll leave that to somebody who can actually draw), and of course things are subject to change based on feedback.

Yeah, Golem Princess is going to be Convergence of Cyriss. Essentially they'll have lot's of bots and be able to use them incredibly efficiently.
Knight Princess was going to essentially be an RPG party. Every unit is a solo unit, but they are all incredibly strong.

Just doesn't look good to me. Only time I've seen it otherwise was in a manga called Centaur's Worries, where there was a race of people that were literally that; humans with snake heads, necks, and tails. Shit was so awkward to look at, and the picture reminded me of it. Not knocking the artist, because they got the humanoid proportions really damn good. Rare to see people actually keep proportions with cartoon/fictional characters. I'm just not fond of DP2 looking semi-realistic like that, is all.

I would say keep them separated by generations. So companions Gen 3, dragon hoard Gen 4, and armies Gen 5.
Second best option being throwing the Gen 5 companions into Gen 4 since Gen 4 has some companions already for some reason.
I think we could do some cool armies still to easily fill up 20 armies.

Gen 4 has them to add some variety, since we were having a realy hard time coming up with items. As has been quite evident, people are much quicker to come up with potential waifus than anything else. So items came out really slowly.

I'm realy digging Mimic Princess's "war form" there. There should be more stuff that takes advantage on her being a shape-shifter.
Spell list isn't quite what I expected, though. I was expecting her to essentially copy most of Absylonia's spell list (she does actually have one spell that's identical to Absy's "forced evolution", but also giving her equivalents of "playing god" and "carnivore" would've seemed fitting).

My suggestion is that we cut beasts, masters, etc from Gen V and put them in Exp Gen III and IV. It gives us a headstart on those gens and cleans up the problem that we currently have too many things. We've almost got a full sheet of armies alone.
