The guy who runs it makes the round deadlines quite long too, and moves them for if people need extra time, instead of setting them short and prodding the few stragglers.
Swiss keeps everyone on their toes too, as to generate a new round everyone needs to have played, whilst in Round Robin you can play your opponent as long as you've both completed your last round. Which sounds neat until you get one guy who has three rounds to play and it leaves you out for a month.

The answer is always Block (or possibly Wrestle), regardless of what your plans are for a particular Marauder.
Want to make him a killer? Block will help him knock down guys and block more reliably.
Want to make him a marker? Block will keep him on top of an opponent.
Want to screen? Block will keep you from getting blitzed down.
Ball Carrier? Block will make him harder to take down.
The only exception is for ball sackers and LOS Fodder, who may want Wrestle instead to counter Block. It's boring and everyone takes it but that's because Block is probably the single best skill in BB.

Doubles honestly aren't good on human catchers because guard is shit on a ST2 AV7 piece and I really don't even rate NOS. Diving catch is a single and as long as you aren't in 2+ tackle zones diving catch is a much better skill. Plus if you have him in 2 tackle zones and you aren't blitzing him free it usually means you need to do a 4+3+ dodge to escape

Marauders are cheap and plentiful, you can easily afford Wrestle on one. Yes, they have access to every skill in the game but it's not like you're ever short of them. Even if you run every single Pact positional you'll still have at least 5-6.

Nah bro, you use the Dark Elf for carrying early on while you're building up a couple blockers, but the end goal is a Marauder runner so that you can continue distributing SPP to other Marauders without worrying about Animosity rolls.
Pact's strength is its TV efficiency, Marauders can be built to whatever role is needed without having to fuss over less than optimal skills, like building a Human sacker out of a blitzer and not wanting to take the preferable Wrestle because he already has Block. In a fully developed Pact team, the Dark Elf and Skaven are not terribly necessary unless they've gotten stat ups that complement their specialized stat lines like +AG or +MA respectively. Gobbo will always be useful thanks to Stunty and TTM though.

Both are teams that are stronger early in development. I'd say Undead stay relevant longer whereas Norse kinda peak out and their low AV becomes a greater weakness once Block isn't as big of a deal to skilled up teams that started with better S, AG, and AV.

The biggest problem with running more than 2 leagues (regular and stunty) is that the newer ones won't be filling any gaps anymore, and we'll have to figure out if it's best to alternate with stunty (which only works with a 3rd league to be honest) or if we start running parallel leagues, in which case it could end up oversaturating the whole thing.
I say this because there's a lot of fun leagues we could potentially do, not just with secret league, but I don't want to oversaturate our community.

Myself I'm not particularly fervent about it all. Call me unimaginative but I think Blood Bowl's meta is very healthy anyway, hence the longevity of a ruleset that has basically stayed the same since before LRB4.
I don't think I can actually add Custom Rosters into the /tg/ FUMBBL League group anyway, same as trying to integrate Stunty into it, it has to be a new-fangled "League" with its own rules instead of the traditional "meta group".
One idea would be to alternate between Stunty and Custom/Secret in the off-season.

Too be fair, the ogre is really the only big guy that is good and necessary to take.
Now, any team that has a 0-16 or 0-12 Slot for stunties needs to take their big guy.
The rat ogre, wood elf tree, and beast of nurgle are all viable big guys, if not tv effective, but depending on your play style and tv they can be useful.
Also for this I am defining mummies and tgs as blockers but either way you can't play undead or khemri without them.
So any other team not mentioned taking their big guy is really doing a sub optimal build

Yes, it's all possible. You'll only stop bouncing when you hit an unoccupied square or fall out of bounds.

How would you rate wights in terms of best blitzers in BB?

Slightly higher than their average stats would indicate. They, like most blitzers, are pivotal pieces for their team. Undead teams are hard up for positionals, and the blitzers are the unsung heros.

You can't turn an existing league into a Custom League - they need to be built from the ground up.
It would be possible to recreate existing teams from the current league in a new hypothetical Custom League, but you'd essentially have to "farm" them to their record and team stats, and honestly at that point you might just start fresh.

Wights are really great due to regen, but they tend to need it because 0-2 access means you don't have a bunch of replacements ready.
Blitzers generally get dangerous and difficult jobs so having one that you can throw into the thick of things without dying is very important. They also fill a crucial role on Undead and Necro teams as one of the few pieces that can manage MA6 and still remain expendable, so they often will shield or back up your ghouls or wolves.
