So, there are hexes inside of hexes.

To get your starting location on this map, roll two dice, a d30 and a d25.

>d29 + 0 + d25 = starting hex code

System? And for whom (just you and your friends?)

Post them.

>System? And for whom (just you and your friends?)
Ignore that question (the system one).

Rolled 18, 10 = 28 (2d30)

>>47772768
Fuck it, dice clearly isn't working as I expect it to.
>>
Rolled 12 + 1 (1d29 + 1)

>>47772897
>dice+1dX+1dY
>>
>>47772924
I already deleted three posts of mine attempting to do that in various fashions. It seems dice field doesn't understand two different things.

'dice+dX+dY' also doesn't work.

Ah, in this very thread? I wouldn't personally, but have a good one!

Yeah, you're right, you have to do separate rolls then. Whatever, 18010 is fine.

>You're in a thickly-wooded forest, surrounded by ancient oaks and stout ash trees.

Umm, roll a character next?

Rolled 3, 2, 5, 2, 6, 7, 10, 1, 10 = 46 (9d10)

We need some alcohol first.

I have no idea what that is.

What do you want us to roll specifically?

Cabbage turnip

It's been a while. How are we doing?

I'm going to 've running a hex crawl soon. Anyone have any tips?
>>
>>47772401
This thread is so fucking good, OP. Random tables are my downfall. Any recommendations on hexes within hexes? Yea or nay? Also general hex size in miles/kilometers?
>>

>Any recommendations on hexes within hexes?
What do you mean?
>>
>>47776346
I have about 50x25 hexes, 6mi across. I've seen some with it broken into 6 hexes 3 miles across for more in depth exploration of multiple poi within the hex. I don't want to show my players that for one and have them want that detail in every hex, but I'd like to keep a few poi in the same hex for plot.
