Well, there's several possible explanations.

The first is because he was designed to operate for a long time in an inhospitable environment to take care of a systematic malfunction in a superstructure with enough physical mass to at least encompass the solar system's orbit, and which may or may not be pumping in mass and energy from alternate universes to do so. So his gear needed to be streamlined.

The second is that because of said inclement conditions, he's had to do a lot of patch jobs over the years.

The third is because he's actually a clarktech robot and at least some of the armor might be part of him

I just realized how devastating Megalovania would be in Commorragh. How did I not realize this before? ... This changes everything.

It's also wonderful for when you have to kill Gods of Evil, cosmic horrors, and similar critters with kill counts in the planetary population range.

Does Sorcery Savant from Buffyverse apply to all magic systems or just in-universe magic?
>>
>>47749547
Megalovania is a perk from Undertale that allows your magical attacks to do more damage the more violent and evil a person is. It scales down with innocence, but that's not important.

Commarragh is a Dark Eldar city from Warhammer 40k that is best described as a vile den of bastards unlike anywhere else in the multiverse.

Combine the two and I might have a shot at taking down the head honcho after all.

It gets really, really nasty if you stack it with other stuff.

-Scar Dead (Medaka Box): So let's say you're a Deldar and you try to go to your happy place when your sins start crawling on your back. Except no, that's not happening-because now every fuckup, every wound and debillitation and hurt is starting to open up again-and this being 40K, that's a lot of wounds.

-Herald (SMT): But that's okay, you still have your happy place right? Not anymore you don't. Now you're being compelled to emphasise with your pain. Also, the sensations of your sins are actually being manifested against you now; so even if you're a masochist it's quite likely the sheer humiliation is going to prevent you from enjoying the experience.

-Embodiment of Evil+Titan's Blood (God of War): Okay, maybe now's the time to turn over a new leaf. Except no, you can't when you're being immersed in gaseous clouds of noxious evil even as you're being smacked around by attacks that worsen with increased amounts of evil.

-A Ragged Wound (Franken Fran) and Halted Time (Valkyrie Profile): But your physiology is stuffed full of combat drugs and stuff so you'll recuperate eventually right? Nope, now you'll need honest-to-goodness magical surgery-has to be magical AND surgery-to make the pain go away.

-A Song for the Hopeless+Learn to Fly High (Binbougami-ga) and Magoi Manipulation OR Master Magician (Magi): Maybe you have a trick up your sleeve. Well, it's not going to work now. Your powers are going haywire, and your wounds are destined to occur. There's no getting off this ride.

Actually, f you're specifically looking to slaughter evil gods rather than maximise suffering:

-Angel Slayer from Valkyrie Profile can turn divine weapons into super-duper godsbane weapons

-A Noble Phantasm from Fate can be Anti-Divine meaning it has a conceptual advantage against divine beings

-Virus from Hyperdimension Neptunia gives you a super mode that's effective against divine beings

-God Slayer from Percy Jackson gives you magical knowledge specifically related to subduing deities

-The Seventh Holy Scripture from Tsukihime specialises in slaying immortals whose existences depend on their souls surviving. The Godslayer from Age of Ice is likely even more powerful and can theoretically being acquired without taking the DLC, but given its' nature it's unclear if it would maintain its' divinity-countering properties if taken without jump fiat.

Also, would this perk let me learn all the spells in Master of Magic even if I don't take any 'Link' perks?
>>
>>47750076
No. It says you can learn any spell you see in one magic system in any other magic system, but it doesn't get rid of any inherent limitations in that system - e.g., Sorcerers' limited spells per level or the requirement that you have the appropriate Mana links if you're trying to learn Master of Magic spells in the Master of Magic system. You could learn those spells in the D&D system, but they'd probably be Epic spells and require the Epic spell rules to create.
>>
>>47750180

Most of the time I do it on purpose, to convey a point. I'm a fairly nice person, and this is further conveyed in my jumper-self. I help people, give characters therapy, try to redeem villains, even the most vile kind. But sometimes, I get upset. I always smile, I'm always calm, even under pressure.(since I took Tranquility and Strife as my Origin in Kara No Kyoukai I can effectively find the center between the two to maximuze my efficiency)

But when I'm not in the mood for the shit your doing, when what your doing is so heinous that I drop the facade and have to get serious?

I'm not impressed with that Asari, but I am with the fact that actually managed to figure out a way to make a sequel without selecting a single path. Basing in it a new galaxy was a good way to sidestep the problem.
>>
>>47751211
Filling it with familiar races was just lazy however.
>>
>>47751249
I'm not a hundred percent sure that's not part of your crew our a similar expedition rather than Andromeda's native species. If it is though, then yeah, that's bullshit.
>>
>>47751211
To be honest I think they're just going to treat ME3 as having become irrelevant by the game's start. I just can't imagine them otherwise reconciling the drastic differences in history that would have come from every organic species being made biomechanical by magic Shepard-dust or a Renegade Shepard in charge of the Reaper fleets.

And frankly i'm not optimistic about the game's quality given the dreck that ME3 brought about.
>>
>>47751312
They'd have to if they wanted make a sequel is my point. The sheer differences in culture and what not would have to be glossed over- which would be retarded if they set in the Milky Way. By putting it in Andromedea it's not such an egregious issue, and can be summed up without them having to make three different games.
Also, I liked ME 3. Right up until the shit ending. And I think the quality could be improved a bit if they would have removed the stupid chasing the kid parts. But other than that I liked it.
>>
>>47751249
I'm fairly sure what happened was Reapers show up. To make sure that the major races still survive they're loaded up on colony ships. They make way to the Andromeda galaxy, the crew and what not are in Cryo.

The Asari is probably one the people that were part of the ark. It would make sense for Alliance to include the members of the species from the council.

Humanity takes the lead but they still needed the funds that could only come from the established players. The economy of the Alliance is small compared to even the Elcor.

I really haven't invested in armor since the relative level of natural toughness of being a metal-boned fighting dog, chaos power nature, and the horse talisman leaves me with excellent immediate regeneration against a variety of threats. Accessorize with some ribbons that prevent various status effects and I'm good. However I tend to wear armor appropriate for a setting when I'm not being particularly showy, like leathers when we were in The Elder Scrolls.

When I actually need armor because I still fear getting shot in the brain pan with a sufficiently large bullet that my bones won't stop and my regeneration won't help with due to whoops brain exploded, I started with the basic set of armor I got in Destiny. Its not great but it stops a few bullets. I armsfusion'd whatever other armors I found there into it so it eventually became decently tough. Its got a coating of Orihalcon to provide a bit of safety from magic as well.
>>
>>47751345
Fair point.

But no, ME3's just a crock of shit to me with one or two good moments. Apart from what you said there's the expanded universe characters nobody cared about or liked (looking at you Kai "literally a worse Raidan" Leng) being shoehorned into the plot, there's the organics vs synthetics bullshit made up after that leak replacing the interesting dark energy hinted plot in ME2 and there's the Illusive Man going full retard in order to hamfistedly ape Saren-and to apparently save the dev team the effort of designing a final boss because the video game was too videogamey for them. For that matter all the bossfights were shit, ironically barring Leng's.

I'm not saying there weren't any good parts, I'm saying all my good memories of the game relate to cutscenes and dialogue. I wanted a lore-rich RPG shooter, and I got a visual novel with some shooter elements. ME2 was a better game overall.

>>47751422
One way or the other the Reapers aren't a meaningful issue after the end of ME3, for better or worse. I doubt it's them unless some truly stupid retcon gets pulled.

The Leviathans, on the other hand-ugh, I'd much rather have ME3's plot points forgotten altogether but they WERE hinted as Still Being Out There.
>>
>>47751457
ME 2 was definitely a better shooter, that's for sure. I didn't like how it's storyline was much less epic seeming than 1 though. The gameplay was so much better that I didn't mind.
I still enjoyed ME 3, though I do wish the dark matter shit was kept. I'm mad.
>>
>>47751457
>and to apparently save the dev team the effort of designing a final boss because the video game was too videogamey for them
There actually is concept art of a Reaper-ized cyborg Illusive Man that presumably would have been a final boss. So they designed him, they just didn't bother to put him into the game.

With Body Mod, it's probably best to just dump it all into sense considering how abundant Brute perks are, amirite?

Generic Parenting Jump

>Infant +200
>Gender: Girl (Can't wait till her teens)
>Jumper Jr. -200
>Background: Caring (I'll try not spoiling her too much)
>Location: A rural farmland (Starting to sound like Smallville, are the Kents my neighbors?)
Perks:
>It’s Just Me -400 (This is pretty helpful)
>Gentle Hands free
>Because I Love You, free
>You Made Them Cry! -300 (Someone gonna die)
Gear:
>Multiverse’s Best Mom/Dad Mug, free
>A Pink Apron, free
>Music Box, free
>A Piece of Home (-600)
Companions:
>I Have Two Jumpers! free (Hugh Jackman as Jump Dad)
>Uncles, Aunties, and Nannies -200
Drawbacks:
>Warehouse Key Jr. +300 (Honey...did you move my nuclear missile?)
>You Leave Them Alone, Or Else…+200 (She has the body of a supermodel, my abilities, all my harem perks, and the urges of a teenager.....shit)

It was very nice being able to settle down for a few years with the family, without having to deal with monsters, aliens, etc. Spent lots of time with my daughter who received plenty of training when she came of age from me and her aunts and uncles, pretty sure she learned how to swear from Jack along with biotics.

And then she turned 16, longest...two years...ever! All those charisma and body perks came back to bite me in the ass, I'll tell you that. More then once I threatened some poor teen with bodily harm and a shallow grave on the moon. And hey, I'd be mad too if whenever I was about to get lucky a Terminator T-800 would bust through the wall saying "Your clothes, put them on. Now."

It was a happy day for all when this Jump ended.

Body Mod only really matters in gauntlets and when you take drawbacks that depower you. You can get everything there from other perks, though senses are admittedly rarer than the other stuff.

Personally i picked up a mix of speed, dexterity, endurance and 2 levels of senses since i figure that's what'll help me the most when i'm depowered.

Question: Do opposite gender clones inhabited by AI count for the purposes of That’s Not How it Happened!
>>
>>47752119
The import option exists on the assumption you already have a biological child in existence before this jump actually happened. A clone would normally count, but if you have a different consciousness inhabiting that body, it probably doesn't count.

This answer is so circumstantial I'm honestly gonna say 'fanwank it'. Just know that drawback isn't to suddenly make any companion you have into your kid, just to allow easy transition for jumpers who already had generational parties going.

That said, I'm half-asleep and it's nearly midnight, so I'll have a more solid ruling on this in future versions.
>>
>>47752168
Well, the whole reason for creating the AI is because I wanted to have a child without actually reproducing. Does that count?
>>
>>47752117
Thanks.
A perk for giving really good hugs is what I’ve been looking forward to ever since the Parenting Jump was first suggested.
>>
>>47752176
Considering cloning is an option for getting a hereditary child in-jump, I'll say 'yes'. They won't spontaneously develop any new genes you gained since picking them up, however.

I'll probably add a note about imports resetting their memories temporarily, otherwise the jump's loss conditions become moot in that situation.

Suppose you had some summons from SMT. How would they fair against the True Fae, both their Actors/Huntsmen on Earth and in their own realm? Would gathering them from SMT 1, Digital Devil Saga or Devil Survivors 1 & 2 have any major differences in defeating True Fae?

>Respect the Badge (Free, Watch)
Bit of a misnomer, but it never hurts for people to start out on a good foot with me, eh?
>Untouchable (400, Watch)
Being able to see who's on the take is a handy thing. Knowing how to navigate it - or root it out - is even more handy.

213. Generic Parenting Jump
>Child's Age: Infant (+200), 2 Months, Child's Gender: Male, Jumper Jr. (-200)
His name will be Christopher, after my brother. He's mine alright, and the first of my children to actually look the part. I made sure the rest of my kids were obviously human, but that was in the womb. This time, he's his own little man when I get him.
>Origin: Drop-In
I'm a friendly alien raising my child on your world, thank you. This is how my people extend the hand of friendship, buying a chunk of land and living among the people. Sure, we'll let you guys have some technology and stuff. You're just forbidden from taking too heavy a hand in the village just because I'm here.
>Location: A rural farmland
I have the deed and everything, and it's the farm from Harvest Moon. It's near my Animal Crossing Town, which suddenly has a space program, wizarding tower, the giant playground that is my Anon's Stage, a mansion, some hot springs, and more than it's share of weird attractions. The locals might not trust us at first, but we'll do our best to be friendly and win them over. It's not like we don't have practice.
It has a great school system and low crime, at least.
>Thicker than Water (-300)
Hiding won't help you.
>Rest Your Head (-200)
I won't stop him from getting sick. I made that mistake with Toby. He gains a super immune system at puberty, but for now he gets cuddles and home remedies.
>You Made Them Cry (-600)
Running won't help you.
>"Multiverse's Best Mom/Dad" Mug
I can change gender, and am technically the sole parent of the child. His DNA isn't a perfect match to mine, though.
>Mementos of the Past (-100)
Stories to tell. I used to love laying on my mom and hearing her stories.
>A Cozy Blanket (-200)
And he'll have some good nights ahead of him, before he loses the need to sleep.
>Warehouse Key Jr. (+300)
Baby-proofing. Locks on the weapons cabinet. Gotta store the magical rock pile somewhere he can't accidentally an ocean.

Not the maker, but I'd go with "mostly the latter". If there's a limit to the max number of spells you can learn in a magic system, you ignore that limit, but if a spell has prerequisites (like "must have a link to a Nature node") you'd either have to meet those prerequisites or come up with a substitute using a magic system you know.

So yeah, that's a pretty good perk. The catch seems to be that learning/converting via Dark Wisdom takes time and effort, especially if the only magic system you know is the Overlord one, because in the Notes for the jump it mentions that learning spells in Overlord averages a year per tier of a spell.

OH right, and before I forget: Ko'el decided it was time to head home. After Sburb he was left listless and Dragonlance showed him that he was just adventuring because it was his mission to stay assigned to the Light of Terra. He'd forgotten and failed his mission, and just wanted to go home. And so there was much hugging and goodbye handjobs and whatnot. He kept his camera and supplies, and there was a big goodbye dinner before jumpchan sent him home.

As a character, I was honestly just not all that interested in writing about him, so he got the short end of the stick a lot. His personality was just "Tau." I think I kept him so long because of that whole sunk cost fallacy, but he's gone now, and will probably be thought of just as much.

I know these changes won't please everyone, but hopefully they'll be balanced now.

Changelog:
Heartless and Nobodies now expensive backgrounds.

Minor changes to their discounts and freebies to leave them at very close to parity.

Wielders get some item discounts since they somehow got through without any before.

Let us know what you think, not just of the changes but the jump as a whole. Hopefully there won't be many more changes, so preliminary builds are welcome.

>Is possible to resurrect servant?

There's no canon answer for this because actual ressurection is really rare in the nasuverse, but Ilya is meant to store the 'souls' of Servants until they get used to complete the ritual.

However Servants need something to maintain their existence to basically keep Gaia from basially going "Wtf your supposed to be dead. Go away."

Which means you would have to find a way to keep Berserker maintained after reviving them if you manage it.

Isn't a servant normally some kind of weird avatar/projection of the actual Hero from the Throne of Heroes? Is the form you take from the Cast Aside This Vessel perk from Sword and Sorcery guranteed to be more powerful than all of your 'normal' forms? I've been stacking shapeshifting perks the whole chain, so I want to know if I'd just be wasting cp by buying it.
>>
>>47753557
What does it say exactly?
>>
>>47753522

>Isn't a servant normally some kind of weird avatar/projection of the actual Hero from the Throne of Heroes?

It's more like some weird combination of a letter and a magic robot clone. Basically their copies made based on the Heroic Spirit, and then the information gets sent back to the Hero, and then possibly outside of Grand Order has no more effect beyond 'the record is in the same area as information that gets ignored'.

> I'd be concerned about the risk that Jumper might actually rez-pull a Hero out of the Throne.

If your worried about the risks of this and think it has a chance of occuring make sure you have immunity to time nonsense. See the Throne kind of exists outside of time. Which means that the Hero's were always there even before they died.

So if you manage to actually remove the 'real' version you probably broke time somewhere really damn badly.

>Aren't they Gaia's pocket army or something? The shitstorm from that happening would presumably be impressive.

I don't think they have a consistent explanation for what Heroes are. There's an implied connection to Alaya (the will of humanity), but it apparently stops being able to use the ones that actually qualify.
>>
>>47753584
>How long have you reached beyond the realms of men and into forces that the ignorant prostrate themselves before and clamor of gods. Is it not only natural that you tear away the final veil that is your humanity. With an effort of will you can cast aside your mortal form in a transformation fueled by immense arcane power. The form you take is influenced by many things. Your nature, personal power, the essence of your soul, and much more. Regardless it is an avatar capable of tearing apart scores of lesser men and wielding strange abilities evocative of your magical arts. Perhaps you are a towering twelve foot warrior demon of fire and scorched granite, or a vast raptor made of cast fog and light whose concussive wing-beats blast the mind as well as the body. The nature and power of this form will change and increase as your own does, and retaking your mortal form requires several minutes to reverse the process.
I can already take all of the forms described by the perk, so it seems like the only benefit it might give me is a few free spells while 'transformed'.
>>
>>47753615
Its a bit annoying how unsure one can be with this.

Mostly because I am not sure how strong you are, from one part growing older should make it stronger as you expierence and know more.
But we lack an example on power, still in theory its less an alt-form and more...something /else/.
The real question is how good is this versus the perk, This is my Final form and other perks.

Also not sure if it matters what form you have before taking this and how it combines with other powers.
At the very least any magic you hold should be easier and natural to use (like breathing or moving you hand).

Legend of Mana.
>>
>>47753840
Well, there are several ways, the best probably being using Preserve the Land from Legend of Mana to convert a place into an artifact and plant it back down in each new world you go to. But in this specific case, there's already a volcano lair that follows you that you can buy on its own. Mount Kalshekk, from Fall From Heaven. A volcano of large but indeterminate size (it says it's the largest volcano on Erebus, but is that Manua Loa or Olympus Mons in size? Very big difference), riddled with lava tubes to build lairs in, possessing numerous valleys filled with dinosaurs for that lost island feel, and that follows you automatically. Oh, and the lava is magic, letting you either smith enchanted items more easily and harvest magical obsidian from it. You know, if that's something you want to do.

How much I should pay for God Hand in servant supplement to get it on Berserker's level? B rank? In archive I see that it would give only 1 live extra. That's ok but will it still give conceptual defense that will nullify any attack below A rank?
>>
>>47753840
Dragonlance lets you get an Inn, Keep or Tower.
Legend of Mana has Preserve the Land which lets you turn any place into an artifact and insert it in the next jump, complete with retcon.
Neverwinter Nights gets you a flying city if you complete the Shadows of Undrentide plot and take it.
Terraria has Frequen Flyer Miles which gets you 3 world-sized islands that you can reset at will, but they're accessible from the warehouse, not in the world you're currently in.
You can get a Tower and Underground Domain in the Overlord game jump.

With the increased expensiveness of the backgrounds, would it be possible to drop the cost of some of their perks?
The summoning perk tree itself costs 550 (1100/2) to get the heartless battleship thing, even without the Heartless Stars perk.

Similarly, with a Nobody background, if I want just one perk, the 400 cp Aspect of Oblivion perk, that leaves me with only 200cp for anything else.

And those backgrounds ALREADY have a mandatory drawback, to boot.
>>
>>47753919
Well, it's actually already a giant mana generator, producing Fire mana. You just need to find a way to convert it into a more undifferentiated form if you want to use it in non-thermal applications.
>>
>>47753476
Can you take Aspect of Oblivion multiple times? Would there be any benefit in taking Nothing for it in addition to Enter The Void?
>>
>>47753948
That could be tricky. I suppose I could put a portal to the elemental plane of water above it linked to a control chair of some sort that way the interaction of rain and lava makes steam which is air I think. Then that leaves earth element.ay be better off turning it all into neutral mana somehow.
>>
>>47753985
The Fall From Heaven jump actually has a way to do it, the Mechanos society forsake magic and so distill mana down to a universal fuel source that can be used for anything. So you could take their tech, either by choosing their civilization or by stealing it from them during the jump.
>>
>>47753924
We'll take a look at it.

>>47753965
No you can't take it multiple times. You might get some unique uses for it that Enter The Void doesn't come with; perhaps you can make simple geometric constructs or walls with it, but on the whole it'd be a little redundant.

Basically some people think the drawback to make you stay longer shouldn't give as many points as it does. The Jumpmaker apparently disagrees, pointing out the danger of the setting as a whole, with all the big terrible things making it worth it. I think they used another jump as an example of a jump that does basically the same thing and gives more CP for it.

The jumpmaker did cap it at thread's suggestion so you can only purchase it 3 times, but some people weren't happy with that and wanted it reduced more, or maybe removed entirely? I'm not sure on that one.

Then ASA said that they talked to the jumpmaker who apparently said they won't be coming back here for a bit because they think it's fine as is and this place scares them, or something.

Then thread apparently 'unanimously' decided to kick it off the drive. Cos, y'know, that's a perfectly valid reason to do so while leaving all the other things people complain about on the drive.

I think it's a bit bull but that's just me. It's not the first such drawback and it's apparently the only disagreeable thing in an otherwise good jump.

Wasn't part of the MTA issue also caused by the fixed jump being uploaded dirrectly to the upload folder instead of being posted in the thread again like what usually occurs, or am I misremembering?
>>

Some people get incredibly upset about having to click a link to see something that is not in any way hidden instead of having it spoonfed to them. See: everything to do with the IRC.

I thought he said it was done then uploaded it after he changed a few things based on the thread. It looks fine to me and it is a great jump.

I'm working on DLC for Neo-Heisei Kamen Rider, as well as workin' on updating the main jump itself once I'm done with the Return of the Mad King jump.
I may have bitten off a SMALL bit more than I can chew but I'm willing to spend hours on Kamen Rider.
Pic Vaguely related, I got distracted by Ghost while working on the DLC
I'm gonna end up making the entire Neo-Heisei at this point and being a husk of a human being

See, on the one hand, I really want that. More Kamen Rider jumps would be great. On the other hand, I think you're a cool dude and don't want you to burn yourself out. So I'm fine with you taking this at a slower pace. I don't think anyone would begrudge you that.

>What's Eclipse Phase about?
It's a Sci-fi tabletop RPG. It's about transhumanism in the solar system and beyond. It's about a vigilante organisation holding back the next existential risk to transhumanity. It's about class warfare. It's about deciding whether to nuke a hab full of people just because there's a space zombie on it. It's about deciding whether to try and save Earth or just move on and forget about it. It's about deciding whether you're still transhuman six years after your body died and you've been wearing a space station for the last four and you were originally born as a hyper-smart octopus. It's about shooting yourself in the head after a mission because you did some fucked up things that will haunt you for the rest of your days and fuck it, you have backup insurance and won't have to think about it.

Don't worry, I'm taking this at the pace I want! if I were rushing and burning myself out I might have more than the first court done at the moment, for example.
But believe me, I'm doing this because I want to and because people seem to like it!
plus i might need an excuse/reason to burn through all the shows I havne't already finished

But, I appreciate the concern!
Just know this
My life's gonna burn bright!
>>
>>47754668

It also get's kind of silly when you remember that other accepted updated have gone directly to the drive, or perhaps the right phrase would be 'Really damn inconsistent'.

>>47754679

I was mostly checkin to see if I was remembering correctly about their being an issue besides "Why are you letting us spend more time in a reality where time has canonically been broken and there are worlds full of literally logic (literally as in there's oen that's presence makes 1 +1 = 2 false) and reality distorting eldritch horrors that hate us?', or not.
>>
>>47754847
And now I want a Digger Damashi.
>>
>>47754668
The problem with that isn't that you can't go into the upload folder and look at it, it's that the thread can't KNOW it's been uploaded unless informed and they can't give criticism that way.
>>
>>47755012
But they were informed, was the thing. They were told "hey, the updated version is in the uploads folder" by ASA. They have no one to blame for not knowing about it but themselves.
>>
>>47755042
That's kind of ignoring the second part of my post, senpai. People treat it as an honor system as well, so someone else having to tell us is seen as a breach of conduct, more or less.
>>
>>47755051
But he asked ASA to tell people. It's not that ASA just happened to notice and informed the thread, the creator was already communicating with ASA and made a request of him.
>>
>>47755058
Not really. It was posted on the drive and only later, after ASA had posted a build were people informed that the updated version was posted onto the drive.
>>
>>47755058
Still the same, anon. Still ignoring the second part.

I don't have strong feelings on it myself, as well, so trying to straight up argue about it like I'm railing against the jump is misguided. Pretty much the only thing I've said on the issue is a post last time it was brought up going into the probable reason why we scared him.
>>
>>47755068
What second part? You made only one point. Did you mean to type more but got cut off somehow?
>>
>>47755080
The second point of 'people can't criticize it if he uploads it to the drive and doesn't come to the thread'
>>
>>47755080

I think they meant the 'they can't give criticism that way' part.
>>
>>47755111

I'm looking forward to being a surya, myself. There's just something appealing about being a friendly space-whale that lives on the sun. That's literal, by the way, for those not familiar with the setting. Suryas are morphs adapted to living in stellar plasma. When Eclipse Phase's transhumanity say they're going to spread life to every possible environment, they mean it.

I’ve got some pretty relaxing perks this time around. Relax a little and It’s just me help me be approachable and relatable, wax on/off is good for chores/training, and live to win makes my training them so much better. Sure, they’ll have to deal with all my hereditary powers, but most of them add durability, and I can help with them all, particularly with the portable dojo to help.

When they’re in their teens, they’ll see all my worst moments, but I make an effort to be a mostly good woman, so aside from some ‘eww’ factor, it shouldn’t be too bad. As far as the warehouse goes… I have an Inventory from Overlord I can stuff the dangerous or hard to replace things. Kind of wish I could afford the hundred acre woods, but that's life.

Aion question about the Armsfusion Crafter. Weapons you fuse, like do they have to be same kind of weapon? Like sword + sword or can you go like sword + axe/scythe?

I ask because I want to combine Silver Bow from Ravenloft with my Sniperifle.

>companions:
I Have Two Jumpers! [Free] Oh, Arixen? It seems we have a... situation.
Uncles, Aunties, and Nannies [Free] They'll be there to help.
>drawbacks:
Out of Control [+0]What's the worst that could happe- You put that mountain down, right now.
Warehouse Key Jr. [+300] Oh boy. My Warehouse is rather expansive... Can I keep this drawback to let her keep the key?

So... Raising a kid. Welp. Hope I'll do a good job...

Especially with her running around with pretty damn good superpowers. Let's see... Wakfu means she gets my power at 1/1000th strength, so that puts her at decently superhuman in one go, bench-pressing 100tons, nigh-invulnerable, atleast twice as fast as Usain Bolt...

Then there's atleast a dozen magic systems and many superpowers and genetic improvements. Plus bodymod for Sense4 and charmer...

My only regret is not being able to get a few more Caring perks, and the items from that. But I can't take any drawbacks that would hurt the baby. Torturing me, fine. Touching my companions or junior? NOPE.
>>
>>47755711
Speaking of many superpowers...

Conduit gene is heriditary, right?

As is Eliatrope stuff from Wakfu?

Would she be an Omega level mutant too, from X-Men? If so, what would the kid of an Magnetism Manipulation/Self-Molecular Manipulation/Spatial Warping mutant get in terms of powers?

And is the Metal Gear Rising technoorganic-ness heritable...?
>>
>>47755506
Im pretty sure it says in the pdf that they have to be similar and I know aionon has said in the past that things worked if similar like knife and sword are similar but knife and bow are not. I'm also pretty sure that it only works on magic, magitech, or simple tech weapons.
>>
>>47755728
X-Men mutant genetics are a weird thing. There's no guarantee your kid will end up a mutant at all, but it is quite likely. Still, there's no telling just what powers and at what level they will be until they turn themselves on.

So have fun with that.
>>
>>47755728
Conduit may or may not be hereditary. None of the Conduits we see in the series have Conduit relatives, so it's pretty much an unknown how the genes are inherited. It's probably some sort of weird multi-allele trait that has no guarantee of direct inheritance.

As for inheriting the Omega level mutant powers, it doesn't work that way. Having a parent that's a powerful mutant increases the chances that you'll be a mutant, but there's no guarantee of you having a similar power level or even theme to your powers. The X-gene is weird.
>>
>>47755728
The X-Gene is random as fuck, she will almost certainly be a powerful mutant, but the power is totally up in the air.
>>
>>47755741
Great... More random powers.

Alright. Well. Does anyone have a suggestion for what she gets from that then? Probably more fun to ask the thread for something than to just pick something.
>>
>>47755777
Earthquake powers, Alpha level. Better hope this doesn't kick in early or tantrums will be quite an event.
>>
So, what exactly would happen in Worm if I were to either revive Eden or gave Scion some extensive psychological help? Would the world end, would everything be fine, etc.?
>>
>>47755777
Bananakinesis.
>>
>>47755806
Maybe things will be fine? But since this is Worm your best assumption is everything will be terrible anyway.
>>
>>47755777
I'm going to say your daughter is a human spaceship. Self-Molecular Manipulation is inherited in the form of the ability to adapt to exotic environments, while Magnetic Manipulation gives her the ability to absorb energy from radiation and the magnetospheres of gas giants to fuel herself (also other things, but those are the intended targets), and Space Warping manifests as a personal Alcubierre Drive allowing for flight, protection, and FTL travel.
>>
>>47755777
cake manipulation
>>
>>47755806
World would end, just convince Scion to kill himself, its easier and gets rid of him trying to end the world.
>>
>>47755806
Eden and Scion thank you, then end the world.
>>
>>47755837
>>47755851
Why would they end the world?
>>
>>47755806
The world would end, but slower. If I'm remembering Wildbow's comments properly, if the cycle is operating properly then it should take a couple centuries for mankind to die out instead of the couple of years they have now. The question is whether you can talk Eden out of going "fuck that noise, the cycle is too far gone now, let's just kill them all and start over on a new planet". Because they've done that before, it's what happened to the last civilization that tried to fight back against them.

My favorite power was always Spontaneous Explosions. Kinda like Spontaneous Combustion, but explosions. Nothing nuclear in power, like a few sticks of TNT. Obviously the mutant in question is immune to their own powers.

Played an /excellent/ Mutants and Masterminds game with a character based off that power. Collateral damage was quite high until he learned to control his powers a little though.

If you want my suggestion, take a list of ten of the powers you like the best from the thread and roll on it.
>>
>>47755506
Basically what this anon said >>47755740
As long as itis mainly magic, simple, or is enchanted in some way along with being basically the same you can collapse them into one item. So sword and knife would work but sniper rifle and bow probably wouldnt. Now you can get around that if your sniper rifle was also a bow somehow as it also allows for the fusion as long as one of its forms matches.
>>
>>47755858
Because that's what they're there for. Gather data using Shards, then blow up the planet to fuel their FTL to move on to the next world.
>>
>>47755832
Anon I don't know if you've ever actually watched the X-Men movies but human spaceship is way, way beyond any canon mutant

I mean, Apocalypse himself said Professor X was the strongest mutant talent he'd ever encountered.

>>47755858
It's how they reproduce, sustain themselves and perform experiments to survive a form of universal heat death caused by their potential growth encompassing all possible realities.

This is me, forgot my name for a second derp.
>>
>>47755869
What the fuck is going on in that picture?
>>
>>47755858
Because that's what they do, they travel from world to world, getting the population of that world to train their abilities, then they blow up the world and continue on their way. They have plenty of time left in the cycle, but they aren't nice beings, and humanity would not appreciate the fact that they would eventually end the world, leading to tensions and them ending the world early.
