I am now accepting applications for /tg/ FUMBBL League IV. There will be two divisions, as before.
In the Veterans league, as usual, this is completely open-weight to any returning /tg/ League teams, or anyone mad enough to want to enter a fresh team.
In the Rookies league, any coach may enter a fresh team, or a returning team from previous /tg/ Leagues under 1200 Tournament Weight (which is different to Team Value).
Each league will play six rounds, Swiss format, with the top 6 Veteran teams and top 2 Rookie teams competing in the /tg/ FUMBBL League IV Finals to decide the champion.
As usual, players may only enter one team total.
To apply, PM me on FUMBBL (user: MauledByTheTigers), stating your Team Name and which division they want to play in. Apply your team to the group, and ensure they are READY TO PLAY if not already, so you'll have to roll any skills or buy new players first.
I'll check your applications and either ACCEPT or REJECT you. I will regularly post a list of accepted signups, if you're not on it and feel you should be, PM me.
If you can't last ~6 weeks, don't apply. Stick to casual play.

All assists do is help break armor. They don't affect the injury roll. Having 2 assists is just as effective as claw is on an av9 and even more effective on an av 8 or 7 player.
That is a 72% break rate vs av7 (83% if you include DP)
58% break rate vs av8 (72% with DP)
and a 41% vs av9 (58% with DP)
So, sure if I can I am going to put as many dudes as assists as I can, but in general I want a minimum of 2 assists

At what point should a human team start picking up tackle? Like I know elves always give one Blitzer tackle as a first skill up (or almost always), undead take tackle as the first skill on wights and the second skill on ghouls (unless they still need sure hands).
Should one of the human blitzers take tackle at 6 spp? Should a thrower or Blitzer take it at 16 spp?

Depending on the opponents you expect to play, a tackle blitzer is either high or VERY HIGH priority.
Tackle does not help much against orks, chaos, nurglers, dorfs of both kinds, norse and khemri.
For everything else, having just one tackle on your blitzer is of immense help, but you gotta position him properly so he doesnt end up tied up by some shit.
