Did anyone here considered running (or even ran) a campaign set in the Unreal universe? What system would be good for that?
Like a tabletop Unreal Tournament or just the setting?
I'm dying to make/play a tabletop UT but for the setting lone I can't think of a system.

I'd start with a tabletop wargame with only one model per player, then give each player 20 real-time seconds to complete their turn. If you can't finish in that time, you stop wherever you are and the timer goes to the next player.
Given the actual lore of the universe, it'd likely be something along the lines of Eclipse Phase/Shadowrun. Corporate espionage, double crosses, high technology and ancient secrets. The known alien threat side would change the nature of things a lot, though.

That dosn't sound fun.
I want a skirmish game, players can control as many characters they want and individual units have lots of skills.

Then you want Infinity, a tabletop wargame, not an RPG.
If not a wargame, maybe SLA Industries? Or maybe just Dark Heresy / Only War?
There are any number of potential systems you could go for but ideally you want one that you understand intuitively.

I'd say this is about right. Look to FFG.

Savage Worlds is literally the perfect fusion of wargame and RPG.
There's even a fucking flak cannon in the sci-fi companion, so just get the core and that.
OP here(I'm not that guy>>47435649
by the way). I'm looking for a pure rpg, not a wargame. Not neccesariy based on the tournament, but rather on the universe in general, sort of like Unreal 2. I honestly didn't even consider using warhammer based systems, but I guess they could work with slight modifications and additions. I got to check on Elcipse and Shadowrun, as I never had an opportunity to try or read them.
