In a video game, if you leave a character standing still long enough they'll often perform an animation of some sort.

Like sonic will tap the fronts of his shoes on the ground and then fall asleep standing up.

Flowey's dangerous. No, really, do NOT underestimate him. Only guy that's able to keep up with his time bullshit before Frisk shows up is Sans. Speaking of which, protect Frisk.
Oh, and if you would, get the special ending. Asriel really does deserve his body and SOUL back. Side note, Drop-In has some pretty awesome stuff, like Megalovania and Gaster Blasters, though the Human origin is just as good.

Come to think of it, Undertale magic hits the SOUL directly, right?

What happens to someone who doesn't have a SOUL, a Soul, or even a soul?
>>
>>47195001
Download and play the game if you can. It's cheap, you can beat two routes in less than a day of play, and best to play it without too many spoilers. The rest of this will be full of spoilers.

You can get through every combat without hurting anyone.

If you are recognized as a human child, King Fluffybuns is duty bound to murder you. He is the nicest repeat child murderer you will ever meet. Toriel will take you in and be extremely nice, but won't let you leave.

Pet dogs. Do not harm Papyrus.
>>
>>47195185
Well, considering Toriel's magic worked on inanimate objects, Undyne breaking a table with one of her spears, and Sans manipulating things with his magic, it probably still works on those kinds of enemies as well. Attacking the SOUL is just a more effective way of fighting.
>>
>>47195256
I believe the jump says that, actually. Magic affects soulless things as if it actually was the thing it appeared to be, but only does spiritual damage to things that have SOULs/souls.
>>
>>47195273
Makes sense, Toriel was able to wound the SOULless Flowey, and Sans has actually killed him several times. So it makes sense that a soulless being would stil be vulnerable.

I have seen many purchases in jumps that allow for you to gain a group of companions that the jumps says are treated as a single companion.

Does that mean that they can be imported as if they were a single companion and they will each get the benefits of whatever they are being imported as?
>>
>>47195578
That's fanwank territory. I have the Choir of Righteous Fury and I vary it with the perk. If a perk increases something, like charisma or strength, that increase is divided among them. If it's a knowledge or skill perk, they all gain it because they'll just teach it to each other anyway. If it's a new ability or power it depends on the power. Reading people's auras can't really be divided, but the ability to make a limited number of copies could count the total amount of Choir copies, rather than each individual Sisters copy.
>>
>>47195578
Wait, unless you meant the history benefits of an import, in which case you should probably have it make sense in that world. There's no one way to handle it, since backgrounds vary so much more than types of perks. Importing someone as royalty from a specific house could make them a very big family with a lot of bastards, and if two of them were dating it would get really awkward.

163. Cardcaptor Sakura
Origin: Drop-In, Age: 11
Perks: Danger Sense (-50), Safety First (-100), Ctrl-Z (-200), Spell Sensitivity (-100), Spirit Sight (-100), Magician (-200), Conjoined Conjures (-300)
Items: Stuffed Animals (-50), Itty Bitty Item [Infernal Breaker] (-100)
Drawbacks: Lure of Magic (+200)

And continuing on my exploration of my companions magic: Falco is versatile and subtle with lots of knowledge, Isaac is all about ingenuity and magitech, and Asriel is the powerhouse. The other magical powerhouses around here are an immortal little boy and a little girl. And that makes me exceedingly uncomfortable.

So, for my companions, Falco is very much like a daughter to me and Isaac is happily married to Lina. I'm pretty much left flirting with Asriel the whole time or I'll go nuts. Now Asriel is good friends with everybody, but mostly hangs around with Ko'el or my son and Isaac. I've become more or less his friend's pervy dad. I'm going to roll to see how this goes, with a 50+ meaning I don't alienate and upset him, a 15+ meaning I don't sleep with him.

I'll still help fulfill the Cardcaptors wishes. Clow Reed can have his peace and Sakura can have her grand journey, and I'll be there to help out where I can. The situations were set up in advance by a perfect clairvoyant so I don't really have to worry about mucking things up. Just awkwardly try not to flirt with children and do as Clow needs me to end his greatest magician title.

Rather awkward question for you ladies and gents:

Judging by Shadow of the Colossus' end-notes, any Jumper who doesn't stay in that 'verse has Dormin sort've hanging around in their soul.

Now. Suppose someone who, after sufficient plot managed to work some sort of beneficial relationship with this soul-bound Dormin, became capable of merging with him via this perk in Tales of Demons and Gods:

>200 Demon Soul Merge- The key to a demon spiritualists power lies in the demon they merge with, by taking the soul of a demon into your own soul you can merge your body with its body temporarily, using all its abilities and taking its form as your own. While not merged you may also use the demon as a type of watch dog, protecting your soul from being attacked by the souls of other demon spirits.

>After the jump a demon spiritualist may integrate (merge) with the soul of any creature so long as it can reasonably be said to have some form of soul and as long as the creature is not itself a spirit (basically no ghosts) The abilities of this creature are then open for use by the spiritualist.

What kind of powerset / abilities do you think may be derived from this?

Lightning powers: Zapped through the plate armor of multiple space battle dragon-whale things as well as Chitauri coming through an interdimensional portal, totaled several Jotuns and was precise enough to bring the Vision's body to life.

The problem is, sometimes it...doesn't work as well in completely arbitrary situations. Like how he needed Tony and Vision's combined power to punch through Ultron's main body. Which Captain America fought evenly a few scenes before-and I find it hard to believe a few patch jobs suddenly buffed him from getting stalemated by Cap to choking out Thor.

To be fair though-the lightning also severely damaged Tony's suit when they fought but overcharged it implying Starktech (which Ultron is desperately trying to oneup with stuff like vibranium) just absorbs energy really well.

Also, as someone who asked about fire specifically ages ago I believe the answer was "fanwank something".

164. Generic Magical Girl
Location: The Slums
Theme: Elemental Criminals, Origin: Drop-In [Nature Pickpocket], Age: 12
Abilities: Physical Boost (-50), Monster Sense (-100), Basic Elemental Zap (-100), Always on Duty (-300), Anti-Magic (-300)
Extra Allies 8 (-200)
Items: Rich Family (-50), Communicators (-100)
Drawbacks: Rival Magical Team [Space Cops], Hunted (+200)

Chimmy: Light Bandit
Falco: Dark Assassin
Roberta: Stone Con Artist
Ko'el: Fire Mafia
SoB: Metal Sukeban
Asriel: Water Smuggler
Isaac: Lightning Hacker
Toby: Wind Burglar

I'm dropped off at an orphanage that is more or less run by the local mafia. They supply the money that keeps this place running, in exchange it's a safehouse when they need hide out and recruit the more promising orphans when they come of age. It's not a good place, but it's better than most at keeping kids from starving on the streets.

And recently, something worse has been moving in, taking people off the streets and leaving perfectly intact corpses. Some new gang is muscling in, and no one can figure out how they're hitting the local gangs so hard. Not only those, but more cops have been buzzing around the area. Not locals they can just bribe or threaten away, either. The mafia is willing to pay out the nose for any information on what's going on, including information on us, and we're in a poor neighborhood.

The main problem with the space cops is their transformation trinkets are their badges, and they keep them in their pockets. I may or may not have taken one on accident. And she was dumb enough to go and try to arrest one of the baddies anyway before I got it back to her.

So, we're dropped off to help fend off the magical beings that are trying to take over the local underworld for their dark plot, and we're given criminal themed powers to do it with. And our animal guardian is a dirty rat we have to keep from selling us out by bribing him and getting involved in his stupid schemes.

This is gonna be a fun ten years.

Don't have idols any per se, but there were quite a few I admired for making the best of bad situations and not taking the easy way out.

>>47195578
I treat further purchases as "applies to one individual of the group".

>>47195386
Only the Level 100 Magic Caster text says they can use 10th level spells and it doesn't limit that by specialization, so I would assume that applies to Arcane Caster, Divine Caster and Talismonger equally, and since it's the magic specialist, I presume the other magic-using classes - Sorcerous Swordsman & Magic Warrior - can't use magic that high a level.

Since D&D divine magic covers both good and evil spells and YGGDRASIL's magic system seem vaguely based on it, I think you're good to use unholy damage as a Divine Caster.

>>47196525

I just realized that summoning from No Game No Life would allow you to summon Saitama for five minutes at a time. This is useless with the ten pledges restriction but post jump you could summon him in all his glory.

Assuming you took Saitama Likes You from One Punch Man I thing this is objectively the most powerful combo ever.
>>
>>47197058
Saitama Likes You + the power to summon friends from past jumps. . .
>>
>>47197058
>>47197068
why don't you just pod him like I did?
>>
>>47197058
Not really. Saitama is only OP in the context of his own setting. He has no real resistance to magic. Or legit spirit stuff instead of shounen fightin'. Or psychic powers that AREN'T TK which he can tank by being too stronk for Tatsumaki to move.

It's a nice backup plan, but by no means an instant solution. In the manga he mentions being punched to the moon as starting to look like a real fight implying he does have an upper limit, it's just way beyond any being in his own setting.

Or in other words, he's a DBZ character stuck in Kamen Rider.
>>
>>47197136
Companion pods are rare tho.
>>
>>47197153

>>
>>47197153

However, he wou
>>
>>47197156

>>47197172
I think you mean universe, and do remember that that's only because he can only punch in one direction at a time.
>>
>>47197184
HOWEVER, he would probably do less well in a setting relying on magic and conceptual bullshit, such as Fate.
>>
Could you use Real Eater+Lip Service from Medaka on Saitama and take his power?

I mean, if we're pushing the limits of bullshit...
>>
>>47197197
The real question is, even if he's willing and lets you do this... would he do one hundred push-ups, one hundred sit-ups, one hundred squats, and a ten kilometer run every day... and regain his abilities?
>>
>>47197172
>>47197192
Citation desperately needed, people keep saying this without actually having a quote to back this up.

>>47197184
I forgot-portals. Really, science settings with long range weapons. He can also get the cold, implying chemical and biological weapons would work too.

>>47197194
It still makes no goddamn sense to me that Nvrnsqr could apparently tank Arc at full power if his Reality Marble had finished consuming him.

>>47197197
People keep forgetting that RE can't give you a power more powerful than what the original power was, and I would say "unwillingly stripping someone of his power" falls far, far, far, far, far, far above the original power's scope.
>>
>>47197197
you'd be taking a power which I think makes it more powerful, which would prevent you from using real eater to do it since it can't make anything more powerful.
>>47197206
given how the universe works most likely yes.
>>
>>47197223
>how the universe works

What?

Saitama is an anomaly even in his own setting. The closest anything to him is maybe Garou, and Garou failed to break his own limiter because he decided to become a monster after being punched into the stratosphere.
>>
>>47197197
>>47197217
Actually it would work since it is just a straight up swap of how the ability functions. Unfortunately I am just referring to the idea itself, it wouldn't be able to steal Saitama's power because he doesn't have any. As unreasonably strong as he is Saitama's powers aren't really "powers" and therefore could not be taken in this way.
>>
>>47197237
no the way the universe works is that if you want something bad enough you become like it, remember all those mysterious beings who became what they were obsessed about? Saitama wanted to be a hero who could knock out anything in one punch. And so he did and now he's stuck like that. >>47197246
so superstrength superspeed super reflexes and being nearly invulnerable aren't super powers to you?
>>
>>47197246
Yea isn't he just really really strong for no reason? You can't steal the power of "because the author says so", there isn't a power to steal.
>>
>>47197259
No, it is explicitly stated that all he did was just become that strong naturally. There is no super power behind it.
>>
>>47197246
You're not wrong but I disagree because I thinkbeing able to take someone else's away without their consent is significantly greater than the original effect but since Medaka powers are vague as well anyway it's up to personal interpretation so we probably won't be able to convince each other here.

I'm actually not sure whether his strength counts as a power or not. There may or may not be an entity that looks like one of Bloodborne's Great Ones who bestows the phenomena that makes people turn into mysterious beings, and said phenomena may or may not also be associated with the "limtier" Saitama broke which might be similar enough to the "skills" of Medaka Box to be eligible. But if the "limiter" is entirely separate from MB transformation then I guess not.
>>
>>47197246
No, it would only work if Saitama willingly gives his power. Kiss Service is willingly giving your power to another person. You can swap it to be taking a power from a willing person, but you can't make it to steal a power from another person unwillingly. Not only is it two changes (Real Eater allows only one change per power) but it's also stronger then the original version as you don't need consent.
>>
>>47197259
>the way the universe works is that if you want something bad enough you become like it
This sounds absurdly abusable, too. You could cheese it with willpower perks and something like Path to Victory and get exactly what you want.
>>
>>47197275
See >>47197284
Whether it's stronger or not doesn't really matter in the end, as the change he wants still violates the "One change per power" rule.
>>
>>47197284
That makes sense but I still maintain that you can't steal Saitama's natural physical capabilities because they aren't powers.

Even if you could you couldn't keep them, if the somebody who you gave a power to dies or gets left behind in another world the power returned to you. If you left Saitama behind his power would return to him in the same way.

>>47197285
I think Bancho's wrong on that count, or at least heavily exaggerating the effect. The "become what you want" thing just turns you into some sort of goofy toku monster, at BEST with some X-men-like powers like cloning yourself, acid spit or hypnotising people. Garou didn't suddenly become Angra Mainyu during the end of his fight, he just grew a huge demon crust that broke apart to review his human body beneath it. There's absolutely no conceptual hax here, it's just being stronk.

And other people have trained better/longer than Saitama only to get significantly lesser raw physical stats. He's an anomaly.

>>47197290
I actually agreed with you on that point but fair enough.

Yes because Saitama has demonstrated the ability to resist Chaos corruption. Look, here's the deal: I won't powerwank the Chaos Gods beyond their demonstrated feats if you won't wank Saitama's beyond his alright? I don't want this to devolve into a pissing contest, but as I said earlier Saitama has no mystic abilities of any kind. He's just a dude. He's even susceptible to the japanese cold.

What's the policy on buying items multiple times? Can you do it unless specified otherwise or is it that you can only do it when it says you can buy something a bunch of times?
>>
>>47197657
You can only do it when it specifies you can buy multiples.
>>
Another dark souls question-the true potential of Sorcery seems to have something to do with crystals. Would using FMA alchemy to fuse Seath's immortality crystal into yourself help buff your sorceries?
>>
>>47197666
But I remember just last thread (Or the one before maybe?) that ASA and another anon were talking about how he spent all his cp on money in the Digimon jump which doesn't say you can. So is there some sort of clear consensus or written rule I can refer to?

Nice trips by the way Satan.
>>
>>47197702
It doesn't? Weird, usually cash is something you can buy multiples of. I'm afraid I'm not sure there is one but I don't think anyone particularly minds you buying multiple stacks of cash.

Another interpretation of that could've been he just bought some cash, and then didn't use the rest of the CP on anything.
>>
>>47197657
>>47197702
It varies from jump to jump. You would have to ask the author of the jump to be 100% sure. Probably mostly assume that items are one offs unless otherwise stated.
Generally, however, multiple money purchases allowed, and even if it doesn't explicitly say so you probably won't find too many anons that care if you do that, because it's one of the least broken things you could buy.
>>
>>47197702
I don't... think(?)... there's an Official Rule (TM) on the default policy. I really don't think it would matter though, unless you're buying multiples of something that is presented as being special or unique (e.g. if a jump offers you the option of buying Excalibur, claiming you can use all your CP to buy a dozen Excaliburs is just crass, but if you want to spend all your CP on a dozen ordinary swords you go right ahead).
>>
>>47197657
I've been under the impression that unless particular items were unique (or implied they were unique) you could buy equipment multiple times if you shelled out the cp.
For example Pokemon Trainer explicitly says you can buy multiples of all items, but Infamous doesn't. It doesn't make sense you can buy multiple handguns in Pokemon but you can't in Infamous.
There is such a thing as buying gear for your companions, after all.

So I guess apply a "does this seem reasonable?" rule.
3 x 50cp cash purchases, 2 x HF swords, 8 x sets of chainmail (for each companion) all seem reasonable, but only one lump of Mordite, Grimoire of Grimoires, Digitizer Ray, etc.
>>
>>47197153
You're assuming because something doesn't exist in his universe that he can't resist it. While that's true in some cases, in others he'd be able to resist due to analogous effects. E.g., he could probably resist anyone's telekinesis the same way as Tatsumaki, and he could probably tank most magic effects just from the standpoint of being too tough to effect - or being able to dodge faster than the speed of light.
>>
>>47197657
Generally, I assume unless the Jump says otherwise that I can only buy things once. But that's a rough assumption unless the jump says you can only buy things once, or specifically notes which things you can buy multiple times (exception proving the rule)
>>
>>47197869
I'm not disputing purely deterministic effects, I'm saying he can't do jack shit against being turned into a frog or being corrupted by evil spirits or getting cursed with a dark fate or his soul being incinerated with warpfire.
>>
>>47197922
I'm not sure you know what "deterministic" means, anon. I mean, yes, I agree that he wouldn't have defenses against those. But it's not because they're non-deterministic. There's a logical progression of states there, even if it's an exotic one, he's not just suddenly and inexplicably turning into a topiary. Well, I guess the Warpfire might be non-deterministic, depending on how you apply it.
>>
>>47197691
The only thing about crystals was that Seath did research into crystals because he had the Primordial Crystal. Then Big hat read through Seath's stuff and made some crystal sorceries. Seath himself though was certainly the oldest living sorcerer, and likely the most dedicated for much of that time. So I would not say that crystal sorceries are the true potential of sorcery, so much as the single greatest scholar among sorcerers was into crystals.

Besides the only real information we have on the Primordial Crystal is that it made Seath immortal.
>>
>>47197922
And I'm saying that's a big assumption. Look at the frog-transformation magic, for example - in most video games, it completely fails against boss monsters, and Saitama would probably count as one. In D&D, you get a saving throw, and his saves are probably "Yes." Corrupted by evil spirits? You can generally fend those off with enough willpower, and he had that before he broke his limits. Soul incinerated? What makes you think his soul isn't strong enough to withstand it?

In an out-of-context scenario, assuming that the native world is completely defenseless against the invading world is silly. A much better assumption is that the invading world's powers, while unknown to the native world, still can be thwarted by defenses analogous to those that would thwart them in the invading world.
>>
>>47197985
Fine.

Scientifically explainable ones, then.

I loathe talking to pedants. I loathe having to explain why "fate" and "evil spirits" and "being turned into a frog" and "the Warp" aren't deterministic even more so now I've said my piece I don't want to continue this conversation.

>>47198033
Oh for fuck's sake.

Please don't insult my intelligence by assuming I'm ignoring the fact Saitama is buff enough to shrug off being kicked to the moon and fast enough to casually dodge bullets. I would have assumed the saving throw stuff would go without saying. I would, however, hope people familiar with Saitama know that he isn't a particularly willful person or else he'd take his hero hobby way more seriously instead of griping about ordinary stuff like groceries.

All I'm saying is magic can SOMETIMES be fucking weird and do shit like open up void dimensions or swap bodies or whatever without D&D rules and that Saitama isn't invincib-

>his soul isn't strong enough to withstand it

What about the fact that no mortal character in all of 40K can withstand direct soul exposure to the stuff? Or the fact that THERE IS NOTHING TO SUGGEST SAITAMA HAS A SPECIAL SOUL OR ANYTHING SIMILAR TO A 40K SOUL WHEN THE WARP DOESN"T EXIST IN HIS NATIVE SETTING? He's a strong fast dude. That's it, "probably cout as one" isn't a good piece of reasoning.

Look. Unlike some I hold myself to higher standards and would really prefer not to resort to HURR STOP PUSHING UR WAIFU but you are really not making this easy for me.
>>
>>47198033
>In an out-of-context scenario, assuming that the native world is completely defenseless against the invading world is silly

Haha wow, you clearly weren't around for the "how do I kill Scion/Gilgamesh/Darkseid, jumpchain?" conversations then. And they all had more versatile defences than Caped Baldy too.

>>
>>47198382
Hah. Thought so.

>>
>>47198330
I have no idea, but I would bet on >>47198382
Personally I saw someone talking about it on /a/ at one point and went looking. I found interviews with One, and they had nothing. Well not nothing but nothing even on the power level of Saitama. It was however interesting to learn that Sonic was in part inspired by a character from Eyeshield 2, and that the mangaka of that, Murata, is the one doing the redraw of one punch.
>>
>>47198269
I don't know the details of your pet setting. Still, if he doesn't have a 40K soul, wouldn't he be immune to Warpfire? Can't burn what isn't there.

Also, Saitama has at least enough willpower to maintain an exercise routine that was initially tortuous for years, every single day, until he became a God.

>>47198286
Yeah, all of the power-wank discussions are boring and make that stupid assumption. I generally assume Scion has no unique defenses against magic, but has arbitrarily-high saving throws, for example.
>>
>>47198476
He maintained a routine (For 3 years only, and saying 'until he became a God ' is hardly impressive given it just happened out of nowhere and isn't actually linked to what he gained from the exercise, just him being an anomaly) that's been said again and again to not even be that extreme. Aside from the 10 kilometer run, which is a bit out there but still accomplish able, that routine is something many professional athletes can and do do daily.
>>
>>47196785
Is Alucard evil? I mean he was letting the Hellsing foundation command him and he was mostly killing modern vampires and those being tricked by them. I'd say he is amoral at least.
>>
>>47198476
By that logic going drop-in to 40K would make you perfectly immune to Warpfire which is an assumption I've never heard anyone make. And I was actually thinking of stuff like the Wabbajack from Elder Scrolls, or even Discworld's brand of transfiguration which doesn't care about physical durability.

I'm sure he's got more willpower than the average bloke, just not nearly enough to do anything outstanding against Chaos corruption. Plenty of hard men in the Imperium who did worse training in worse conditions with fewer hopes for success, and can't even backhand planets fall all the time.

>pet setting

Oh, we're doing this? Well I don't really see the point of you defending your "pet character" when I've already acknowledged he's not a pushover in my very first post i.e. DBZ character in a toku setting, just that you're making a lot of assumptions and playing with semantics to wank him even stronger than he's proven to be.

>Yeah, all of the power-wank discussions are boring and make that stupid assumption. I generally assume Scion has no unique defenses against magic, but has arbitrarily-high saving throws, for example.

Now, that said. I completely agree with you on this particular subject.

>>47198507
I'd say he used to be evil after his traumatic past and over time became so jaded from being OP that he's become amoral over time.

Maintaining a daily routine driven solely by your sheer desire to be a hero, never missing it even when you're sick or tired or miserable, is pretty impressive.

>>47198519
You're the one who brought up the fact that he doesn't have anything analogous to a 40K soul. I'm just taking it to its natural conclusion. Anyway, I'm saying I don't know how Warpfire works; I don't know if it automatically kills a model, or deals X wounds, or requires a toughness roll, or what. But there are very few effects that automatically defeat anyone they're used on no matter what, and I generally assume any effect that isn't can potentially be resisted by analogous effect. That's one thing I could never get over in HPMoR, for example - Fake!Moody specifically says an Avada Kedavra cast by a class of barely-trained teens couldn't even give an adult wizard a nosebleed, but Ludowsky assumes it's an auto kill against anything no matter how strong.

>>
>>47198621
I'm not disputing the "punch, no more demons" part but look-if it was that easy to say no to Chaos 40K wouldn't have happened in the first place.

I want to make clear-I'm not wanking Chaos, I'm just saying, Saitamaa's not Jesus or the Emprah or anything special. He's a strong fast dude who can get pissed off at everyday gripes.

>>47198606
Warpfire's weird. Seems to have a quasi-physical aspect to it; that one spaceship in LoT part 3's mostly made of it for example. But it certainly can affect things that are purely physical.

It's not said outright but I get the strong impression HP magic scales with intent, emotion and will a bit like Dresden Files magic. Bellatrix says something very similar about why Harry's Cruciatus didn't hurt her much in Order of the Phoenix-you have to actually enjoy causing the pain, apparently. Would also explain why love is such a big deal.
>>
>>47198606
For a normal guy sure it's impressive but it's still not something that's out of bounds of real world humans either. Also, what he's driven by is irrelevant, someone driven to exercise like that solely by their desire to look good is just as strong willed as someone who wants to do it to be a hero.

And like the anon before stated, it's really not that much compared to some of the stuff people in 40k can go through and still be easily corrupted by chaos.
>>
>>47198606
Also you don't think leading an army of supersoldiers to claim the galaxy in the name of human supremacy is impressive at all, not to mention likely having grown up on horrifically xenophobic planets before being retrieved by the god-emperor of man who burdened you with said responsibility in the first place?
>>
>>47198606
What >>47198718 said, and yet traitor primarchs are a thing. Saitama has nowhere near the strength of character to be half the leader any of the Primarchs except maybe Angron are. There's a lot more to the job than just punching people and doing situps.

>>47198752
Ironically, a lot of why they fell is their strength of character. Chaos embodies good and evil, and once one leader falls to it then they start going down like dominoes due to their loyalty.

>resist chaos corruption to a point

The operative words are "to a point". As you are wilfully ignoring at this point, people have achieved far more than him have fallen to Chaos. Sure, I can believe he's got about as much grit as the average guardsman needs to not die from demons one morning. But people at least as determined as him have succumbed to Chaos in the past.

>Saitama hax

No such thing. As has been said repeatedly, he's just strong and fast.

I don't even understand why you're still stuck trying to argue this. The original point was that he has no truck with magic in general.

>>47199670
You, on the other hand, aren't helping. As I've said at least twice I don't believe 40K is an insurmountable challenge. I do believe Saitama lacks any capacity to meaningfully resist Warp-based effects apart from dodging and punching really hard and fast. I've never disputed that he could beat any Greater Daemon in a fistfight.

Harry Potter

Went in as a muggleborn, sorted into Slytherin, being a magus with a specialty in Bounded Fields and Runes meant EVERYONE was in for a bad time.

Being a talented student, sneaky S.o.B., and legimens-proof on top of everything else made things so much worse.

Best part? I made it very clear that I didn't care about the wizarding world, had my folks owl me 'muggle' school coursework even as I did my Hogwarts ish. I would have been hopelessly bored otherwise.

Partnering with Hermione in Potions was a brilliant idea though, had someone I could actually talk with and protected her from the worst of things in the class, and basically made Snape treat her fairly.

Good times.

Good times.

NTR'ing Ron was the best part, Hermione and I got married, started an umbrella company that invested in any and all businesses from both sides of the divide which we eventually used to slowly (very slowly and carefully) bring back the world of magic to the mundane world. Politics son!

I suck at making spoilers, so my apologies if I screw this up.

Yeah, it's kind of weird to waifu a child, even if you're a child at the time, too. There's still a rather unsettling imbalance of maturity there, makes for an uneven relationship. That's why I waifued Gaia in EVO Search For Eden, personally. She's a waifu as old as you are (well, slightly older, she was around before you evolved, but not for long). Also, she's ridiculously powerful, so there's the utilitarian angle, there.
>>
>>47200950
I waifued my starter pokemon specifically to avoid that problem.
Damn, we're old.
>>
>>47200950
I forgot where i was you are correct this is par the course.

>>47200938
Nothing is wrong with Hermione as a person just the age you both are at the start of the jump. also gotta remember if you are there influencing her from that early she wont come out the same person.
>>
>>47200950
The problem with that argument is that it quickly becomes unacceptable to sleep with any human, because they are all ignorant children compared to your eons of life.
>>
>>47201053
If you really want to waifu a really young character you should probably take them as companion early on and wait for them to have a few jumps behind them and see if they're still interested. There's still an obvious discrepancy in the relationship (companions aren't equal to the Jumper and never will be) but it's not quite on the level of seducing an innocent person who can't even comprehend what kind of life you lead.

But then again all this worrying about ethical implications and great responsibilities is probably why I'd make a pretty dull Jumper. I'd want to give everyone a happy ending in the least violent way possible, fun be damned.
>>
>>47201131
There are plenty of immortal humanoid waifus in chain, mostly demons but what jumper hasn't fucked at least one demon?
>>
>>47201053
Eh, as far as I'm concerned, after a while age stops being a thing and I just follow the cues of whatever body and age I'm stuck in. It actually helps keep whatever sanity I have left.
>>
>>47201053

>>
>>47201188
I am a demon, and I've fucked myself.
I can't prove you wrong.

>>47201135
Again, back to the starter pokewaifu.
The fact that she's/they're a Doublade, and gets both weapon upgrades and companion imports helps even things out. We share enough, soul included, that powerlevel difference doesn't change much.

>>47201131
Yes, and?
That's really a quandary I'd rather avoid, than actually deal with. Do what you want, 'cuz a Jumper is free. You. Are. A Jumper!
>>
>>47201236
Yep. Cute, great personality, awesome powers, and unless you take the most dangerous drawbacks there's no practically no risk involved in the scenario that grants her as a companion. Stick with the canon level of danger and a stone axe is all you need to defeat anything in your way. It's not hard.
>>
>>47201188
Those that like to keep their soul and not possibly have to deal with demonic deals.
>>
>>47201225
Same, I'd rather not hold myself completely apart from everyone I associate with and become aloof.

It's a valid question. For the purposes of jumpchain servants' EX has a definite cap, and EX NPs' output was capped at something around a nuke's output IIRC.

Also Gaia has Arcuied, who when not jobbing is theoretically an order of magnitude stronger than any Servant. Also Primate Murder. Also she used to have the Divine Spirits. The DAAs are also at least Servant-tier on average. And well-there's the whole Grand Reality Marble thing.

>>

EX's thing was NEVER about the damage output, but the bullshit that they brought when unleashed.

Ea - Squeezes air into a Space-Time anomaly that warps and rips apart the world around it to return it to the state it was in at the beginning of creation.

Avalon - Transports one to the Land of the Fae as a defensive measure.

Ionioi Hetairoi - It's a Reality Marble that is shared by Rider's Army, many of whom are Heroic Spirits in their own right. Reality Marbles are unique to every being, and yet they all share one with their King.

Gravitas Laete.
I envision it as a Symphonic Industrial K-Pop Dubstep J-Pop Doom Metal instrumental jam session. It's representative of my tendency for dark/evil powers and gloomy demeanour around random people while actually being a totally cool upbeat guy around acquaintances/potential friends and, you know, my friends plus my actual regard of long-term consequences even if I'll dodge them for centuries/millenniums. It's instrumental because I'm a fucking telepath I don't need to talk. It's called Gravitas Laete instead of something like Umbrarum In Lucem because I have a lot of gravity powers and outer space is dark so you know it fits and fuck you if you think otherwise I spent like ten minutes on this it makes perfect sense.

It's hard not to, I mean, the whole premise of the game is:

>Sun decides his daughter Gaia needs a husbando.

>Gives you advice and hints as you progress through the eras.
>Becomes your eternal waifu in paradise at the end as you two become the parents of the dominant species of Earth.

I mean, it's already the plot that she's your destined waifu, there's a lot of good reasons to accept that offer (though obviously there are valid reasons to deny it.)

How survivable is Tenchi: SOL early on?
>>
>>47202405
Well...it's a slice of life.

Slightly more surviveable than IRL, I guess.
>>
>>47202405
Very. Slice of life episodes of Tenchi were more about wacky shenanigans with space girls in a more or less normal japanese setting. Hotspring episodes, meandering conversations that go nowhere, y'know, the whole bit.
Most you'll likely see are Washu experiments gone wrong and the occasional baddie landing in from space, who invariably get their shit kicked in before the day is up.

So basically just look out the window when you get up each morning and if the sky is black or there's a kaiju shaped like a stuffed rabbit running around outside, maybe stay in that day.

I get it, Bound in Freedom is kind of a weaboo folk metal thing, on the count of starting early as a Ninetales married to a Doublade.
