All this time between actual comic pages and what we get is a lame joke, wew. It's an okay story but it's hard to care about it when the main comic narrative is so broken up. How many pages do you think we'll get before they go back to text dumps?
At least I'm looking forward to seeing what the Tower can do. Mind melded spells seem like such hax it's strange that they don't get used very often.

They only to break successfully with a master class Lookamancer to break them, otherwise chance of croaking or breaking the mind of your casters. Only really possible now because Gobwin treasury is flush, they've taken a pause on conquesting (so they don't need Sizemore producing units and building up defenses as badly).

There was a good post in the comics where it talks about the symbolism of the 'jed-eye knights' beyond the pun.
Something about them being a small order of trained warriors who can deflect bolts, who are lead by a generally peaceable midget who can't plan anything beyond 'leave it to the chosen one', and a good few other similarities.
