Honestly, Rory and Amy won. Living with the Doctor is a zero-sum game, sooner or later you're going to get killed. They escaped that by traveling to the past and to a place that the Doctor couldn't just follow and go to live their lives and (I strongly suspect) have multiple further children.
Clara figured it out when she erased herself from the Doctors memories. Basically, she get's to live now.

South American Jaguar, single largest big cat in the animal kingdom. Can shatter a turtle's shell with jaw strength alone. That Crocodile only stood a chance if he noticed the Jaguar, even once pulled into the water he's fucked as the cat likely shattered it's spine after seizing it. Crocs have a really poor sense of sight so the jaguar pretty much had that entire encounter in the bag.

A long time ago I got it in my head that I should make an RPG maker game where one of the four player characters is a brawler whose starting weapon is Bear Hands, and in an optional sidequest you can help a small republic set up their new constitution, and in return they give him the gift of Bear Arms.
I ended up not making it because RPG Maker is surprisingly difficult. I thought it was going to have a working combat engine when I downloaded it, not that I'd have to make one.
>>46874429
It's true, in any system where you can reasonably land a called shot I've always just seen it become head hunting.
>>46874578
But that's realistic. Why WOULDN'T you always go for the head?
>>46874555
>I thought it was going to have a working combat engine when I downloaded it, not that I'd have to make one.
Same. There are free scripts out there that can get you close to where you want before you have to do any coding yourself, but damn is the core system shitty.
>>46874598
Because nutshots can incap with only one low-to-mid-strength blow.
>>46874598
If center-of-mass will put the target down (e.g. no body armor), the torso is a much larger and easier target than the head.
>>46874578
I may just show my players this image to explain why my wild west D&D game isn't going to have called shots.
Besides, I've always been in favor of letting players roleplay their damage based on whether it's low, medium, high, or fatal, and that often satisfies all their lust for called shots.
He wasn't a player, but my gm once took three separate occasions in the same session that he thinks rioters should be shot on sight.
>>46874640
The problem is it's easy in a lot of systems to get enough modifiers to allow someone to go after the head every time. And if the head is a one hit kill spot, as it often is in systems, then that's a one hit kill that's one stacked roll away.
