The potential to show an uneasy re-integration with the Imperium, to have more hardline politicians take advantage of that while the more liberal ones dealing with aliens try to protect their investments. Radical Inquisitors and Mono-dominants fighting in the shadows and using cats paws to try and push the Reasonable Marines world's around. Toss in more aggressive/opportunistic aliens trying to take advantage of the situation resulting in tensions rising.
Instead everyone spooked special snowflake all over it and tried to soapbox about "The Imperium is soooo bad and silly" ignoring the in setting explanations for WHY it was like that.

AdEva is even worse in practice. The people behind it made an extraordinarily poor choice by using Dark Heresy as a base for the stats and mechanics, as DH is already barely-functional trash garbage.
