I had a look around 1d4chan's creation tables and I found this table:

Who's up for giving it a go?

Creature environment or World? (d100)
>>
Rolled 91 (1d100)

>>46668814
Eh, why not
>>
>>46668947
Urban - "Somehow the creature is able to sustain itself and thrive in and around cities where more intelligent species dwell."

Ok, this can lead to something cool!

What is the creature's food habits? (d10)
>>
Rolled 8 (1d10)

>>
>>46668994
Scavenger - "Feasts only on dead animals or things that inexplicably end up in it's mouth by accident. Doesn't mean it won't strike back."

Fitting for our enviorment

How does the creature reproduce? (d10)
>>
Rolled 10 (1d10)

Oh boy.
>>
>>46669036
Lone Wolf - "The Creature is the last of it's kind and can't reproduce. It ain't happy!"

Oh, this might be good! I like this so far

Smell

Everything stinks, and that is what will be your doom. Or it just uses it really well to find dead bodies etc...

What major faction has had to deal most with the species? (d100)
>>
Rolled 47 (1d100)

>>46669065
Eating
>>
>>46669081
Orks

So, hwo shall we go about this? I imagined it to live in the vast Hive cities of the Imperium or stumble inside Tau cities, etc. So how do you gusy feel about this sicne Orks do not really build many large cities

What role (generally) does (or did) the species as a whole play? (d100)
>>
Rolled 5 (1d100)

My guess is that it teds to hang around any WAAAGH! with a mekboy.
>>
>>46669131
Farmed/Grown/Engineered - "Cultivated as food for the masses, no matter how dangerous or tame."

Oh, no wonder it's the only one left. Now I feel kinda sad for it.

Personal Creature's Exemplary Action (d10)

Slaughtered a group of Orks armed to the teef with looted weapons. They had mistakenly sought another fight.

Maybe the warboss saw that it put up a proppah' fightin' and took it as his pet?

>>46669328

Let's stat this beast out!
>>
Rolled 11 (1d12)

>>46669328
>>
>>46669345
Feathers - "Feathers make up the creature's surface. Many avian creatures have feathers."

Well, it can't fly so maybe the feathers are just a form a protection or something? Maybe it protected itself from wind, cold, heat, etc by having feathers

Ok, now roll 11 d3's
>>
Rolled 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 1, 3 = 23 (11d3)

>>46669381

So you guys made a big, feathered squig.

Congratulations here's your no-prize.
>>
>>46669396
Ok so here is what we got:

>Strong* +1 Strength
>Heavily Armoured* 4+ armour save
>Resilient +1 Wound
>Quick Reflexes +1 I

Ok, now roll 1 d3 for each result here (besides the armour one) and that will apply how much in these stats we get
>>
Rolled 2, 3, 1 = 6 (3d3)

>>46669422
>>
>>46668814
Why create, when at the end of the day it will be crushed under the Astartes' boots like any other xeno? The Emperor wills it thus.
>>
>>46669398

>>
>>46669515
Non sapient xenos are animals to be tamed, not enemies to be exterminated, they will not contest man's birthright in the stars
>>
>>46669499
Ok so +2 S, +3 W and + 1 I

Time for attributes

How does the Imperium view alien life that isn't necessarily intelligent? Like does it see them as just animals to be left to their own devices or do they purge alien birds and cows and shit?

>>
>>46670136
Well there has to have been some reason why it's the last of its kind and was once livestock.

Unless its psychic powers come from that this is the GOD EMPRAH OF DINOSAUR KIND whose was made from its entire race suiciding so he would be born to throw off their xeno oppressors.

>>46670519
Also, is anyone good at art? Can they draw what they think this looks like? Maybe killing some orks?
>>
>>46670519
Holy shit, orks would have to pull up a proper WHAAAG just to take one out
>>
I'm thinking it was created by a heretical scientist for a planet during a famine. He was driven mad, mixing genetic material until the orks invaded the world. From there on, he built something to try and save himself as the orks waaaghed ever onwards into the cities. It was too late, the orks broke into the lab and they found a creature worth fighting.

It now lurks the destroyed city that's occupied by orks, hunted by the larger orks. It craves rotten ork flesh as the monstrosity clings onto life.
>>
>>46670869
But then it explains why orks hunted them
>nuthing but a god ol fight against the pinnacle of evolution
>>
Imagine if the Tyranids got hold of this thing.
>>
>>46670880

Naw naw, "I scientist/wizard did it" is overdone.

What if it uses mind control to daze its prey and keep it docile as the thing closes in to swallow the prey whole?

What if Regeneration is a result of its diet on Orks, the creature's flesh taking on the Ork spores and thus constantly regenerating as a result? Ooh, maybe the feathers no longer look like traditional features any more, but have the look and consistency of mold? The thing doesn't DIGEST food, it keeps it in the stomach to ROT.
>>
>>46671102
Interesting ideas. Not sure how to fit in the "it was made for food", though. Otherwise wouldn't have used the trope.
>>
>>46671130
Enlighten me.
What exactly does "it was made for food" mean?
Old ones project?
Evolutionary delicious meat?
>>
>>46671162
Going off the page
> Farmed/Grown/Engineered - "Cultivated as food for the masses, no matter how dangerous or tame."

I think there's supposed to be an allowance for creative freedom
>>
>>46671201
I figured that no one would farm an animal like this if they found it, so it must have been created and got out
>>
>>46671130

Forgot about that bit, sorry! Maybe it was engineered as a reliable source of food, designed to feed off waste and sunlight? Imagine if you will the feathers are an algae-like mold, stuffed with nutrients and frankly a hideous kind of bloated. People can pull off a massive feather and, after some processing, convert it into food. The creature is alive, it's making food, and it's doing so eating the stuff that would otherwise go through significantly more processing.

So when the creature's lair gets invaded by Orks, it does what any creature would do and eat them, and by doing so it acquired the Regenerative properties of Ork spores.
>>
What if its a mutant or pheonix-like creature like >>46670164 suggested. And the planet's original inhabitants discovered it when it was young, and took advantage of its regeneration to turn it into a endless meat supply. What was a beautiful miracle of nature grew into a scarred monstrosity, and as the ages passed its rage grew, until it the Orks accidentally freed it when they invaded.
>>
>>46671201
Look at it this way.

Only Orks would be crazy enough to try and cultivate this as food.
>>
>>46671280
>>46671310
I like these ideas. It being such a monstrosity and grown for food is a bit hard to properly answer without some fault of logic unless they are orks like >>46671343 said. What if they weren't food for humans at all, but someone was trying to build up nids and it went horribly wrong as orks attacked?
>>
>>46671310
I like this idea.
>>
>>46671410

Do what they do with the Grox, lobotomize it and keep it that way with periodic jolts of electricity.

Hive gets attacked, power systems fail, it gains awareness through Regeneration and gets out.

Also, why are we assuming this thing was in Imperial hands? What if it was owned by the Tau? Last I checked they were vegetarian, and the feathers of this thing would *technically* be plant-stuff, so...
>>
>>46671235
The only reasonable answer is that its a squig.
No one but the orks would breed something that killy for the purpose of eating it.
>>
>>46669807
Mega ultra chicken?
No! Shhh! He is legend.
>>
>>46670519
You've made Vertigo from Primal Rage.
>>
>>46670519
>>46670742

I can't help but imagine this monstrosity as a feathered/moss-covered, psychic, mind-controlling Rancor that terrorizes some ruined Hive that's been overrun by Orks.
>>
I'm imagining it as something like a creepy predatory oversized Therizinosaurus with a dislocatable jaw, green long stringy plumage, and a tail that's sortof like a cross between an ostrich and a peacock.

The creature counts as having Defensive Grenades. In addition if assaulted it always strikes at Initiative 10 for the first round of combat.

>Vampirism
For each unsaved wound the creature causes, it may attempt a strength test. (a 6 always fails) If passed then it adds one wound to its base profile for the remainder of the game. Though it may not exceed twice the number of its starting wounds.

>Acid Blood
If the creature is killed, non-creature models in base-to-base contact suffer a single automatic S4 hit before the model is removed as a casualty

A Jungle-inhabiting "Killer-for-fun" quadruped with an exoskeleton that clones its self, that has Tremor-Sense.

It has dealt with the Tyranids most out of all species, has done nothing of note yet, but is an Imminent Threat to all life.

It has
>4 WS, 0 BS, 4 S, 4 T, 1 W, 4 I, 10 Ld, +4 Sv, and 3 Wounds

>>
>>46677419
It never got one
Its one of the Abilities to have a ranged attack, and we never rolled on it
>>
>>46669939
>>46677483
Entangle. It's a shooting attack. This chicken spits webs or something.

That's how I interpreted that, anyway.

Taken down and possibly eaten scores of human hunters, guardsman, PDF, or neophytes. A terror on the galaxy's most widespread species.

This sounds like any average day on Imperial world #238752. Maybe they are eating the handlers/farmers?

Instead of making a shooting attack, the creature may cause all enemy models within 6" to take an Initiative test, if failed the target suffers the effects of the Blind special rule until the end of their next turn. This ability may also be used in the assault phase instead of attacking normally.

+++Worker log #221/c+++
3rd beast "caretaker" Zvensson here, i've been stationed here for just 2 months on this icy ball they call a planet. I miss home, I didn't know what I signed up for when I left my home hive. We lost Cassandra today. One of the beasts broke lose from it's chock collar and knocked down the catwalk overlooking the compund. She didn't even have time to scream before the beasts started to eat her.
I do not know what is worse, the cold or the beast. Better get back to my shift before the overseer finds me, I do not want to be stationed near the latrines again
Zvensson out

+++Worker log #266/a+++

Zvensson reporting in, again...I do not even know why I do these anymore....

I got promoted to 14th herder today, I got the job becuase some poor bloke got lost out in the glacier desert. They found him a few days ago, or atleast what was left of him. The lads told me that he had been ambushed, a beast had hid in the snow, sneaky bastards. A autopistol was also found near where the remains of him was found...not much use was it...

Im leaving the livestock station today as well, appearently a hereder is another word for hunter...the cattle needs fresh blood. "These creatures can only split themselves a few hundred times" said the foreman. If I don't return within a week...then don't bother looking...Zvensson out.
